Wokeness Sacks Women’s History Month: On-the-Ball Schools Include Biological Males, AKA ‘Womxn’

March 14, 2023 by Alex Parker Leave a Comment

The opinions expressed by contributors are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of RedState.com.

For quite a long time, if you wanted to find people different than men, you’d look for women. But these days, a wider net can be cast.

Hence, a growing number of American colleges are no longer celebrating Women’s History Month. Instead, they’re promoting a prostate-permissive womxn’s March.

As noted by Campus Reform, among the institutions X-ing out XX exclusion are John Jay College of Criminal Justice, the University of Missouri-St. Louis, California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB), Rider University, and Westhampton College.

Rider University’s website spells it out:

The spelling “womxn” is used to respect the dynamic and fluid nature of gender identity and expression and to be inclusive of all people who identify as women in today’s times.

Westhampton College’s contemporary commemoration will include dual assemblies of the Transfeminine Social Support Group:

Regardless of your unique journey, we can all support each other in a safe, caring, and validating environment. … Transition leads people down varying paths/phases, and each [is] more easily accomplished with support.  Regardless of your path, YOU ARE TRANS ENOUGH!

John Jay College of Criminal Justice is heralding ten “John Jay Heroines.” The school hopes its “moving tributes (will) uplift [the] community and encourage others to applaud the dedicated womxn in their lives.”

And CSUSB is hosting a storied extravaganza:

Cal State San Bernardino is honoring Womxn’s History Month throughout March with a series of events and keynote speakers. This year’s theme is “Celebrating and Telling Our Stories” to amplify the voices of diverse womxn and recognize their contributions across various sectors and disciplines.

A variety of events, including the highly anticipated Womxn’s Leadership Conference on Wednesday, March 22, are planned. The kick-off event is scheduled for Thursday, March 2, in the Santos Manuel Student Union East, Obershaw Dining Center at 11 a.m.

Fight the patriarchal power:

At CSUSB we intentionally spell “womxn” with an “x” as an objection to the patriarchal idea that womxn are an extension to men and the inclusion of all womxn go beyond just cis-women.

Indeed — as one mid-month event indicates, the bell of male dominion has rung for too long. California State is defying that dong:

March 14, 5-7 p.m., SMSU North, Conference Center E, Higher Perspective

Join the Queer & Transgender Center as they explore ways to support marginalized identities within higher education. Join Psychotherapist Katrina Sevilla for a discussion about her experience as a Queer Asian woman in a white-male-dominated field, followed by a Q&A with the audience. Refreshments will be provided. Register at Higher Perspectives In-Person or Higher Perspectives Virtual.

We’re living in an era of identity; classic sex distinction is getting kicked in the crotch:

Back to Women’s History Month, CSUSB outlines its origin:

In 1980, a consortium of women’s groups and historians – led by the National Women’s History Project (now the National Women’s History Alliance) – successfully lobbied for national recognition. In February 1980, President Jimmy Carter issued the first Presidential Proclamation declaring the Week of March 8, 1980, as National Women’s History Week (National Women’s History Museum). In 1987, Congress declared March as National Women’s History Month in perpetuity.

Given that the annual observance was meant to restrict who it revered, is relaxing the requirements for womanhood in keeping with Women’s History Month’s ideals?

It is now.

Maybe the 31-day endeavor will eventually welcome mxn. Either way, this March is for lxdies xnly.

Vagina Museum Puts out a PSA: Some Men Should Get Their Ovaries Checked

March 9, 2023 by Alex Parker Leave a Comment

A genitally joyous museum wants to make you aware of your ovaries — whether you’re a woman or man. It’s all-intersectional at the gallery geared toward the intersection of a right leg and a left.

In case you weren’t aware, March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month; and London’s Vagina Museum isn’t clamming up. The outspoken organization aims to snatch myths from the mouth of modern understanding.

Per last Wednesday’s thread-starting tweet:

We’re going to give you a crash course in ovarian cancer awareness. Each Wednesday, we’ll be updating this thread to discuss topics including the basics of ovarian cancer; symptoms; causes; risk factors; diagnosis and treatment; and myth-busting.

The Vagina Museum prepared readers for sexually fair framing. Let’s open up the issue and peer into portions:

Throughout this thread, we will be using gender-neutral language. While most people who get ovarian cancer are women, it can affect anyone with ovaries, including trans men, nonbinary people, and intersex people who have ovaries.

The Museum reported that roughly “7,500 people a year are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the UK. It’s the sixth most common cancer in people with ovaries (after breast, bowel, lung, uterus/endometrial and melanoma). There are around 4,100 ovarian cancer deaths per year.”

The affliction is ageless:

You can get ovarian cancer at any age, although it’s most common if you’re over 50. … Nonetheless, everyone should be aware of the symptoms of ovarian cancer — even if you don’t have ovaries, you should know so you can talk about it!

In response to talk of lads and their lady parts, some commenters came across as crotchety:

  • “Honey, while not every adult human female has ovaries, any adult human with ovaries is female.”
  • “Only females can get ovarian cancer. If you have ovaries, you are female, regardless of whether you think you are female or not. No human has ever changed their sex. … Females with [disorders of sex development] are still female…”
  • “So that’s women, women, women, women, and women then.”
  • “So tired of 99 percent of women being erased for the feelings of a TINY [percentage] of middle-class white people.”
  • “My dad’s never been checked for ovaries, where does he go to find out if he has them?”
  • “Embarrassed for you.”

It’s a transitional time — we’re slowly getting used to Victors and Vaughns with vulvas:

Back to the Museum, this isn’t the first time it’s made the news:

As for the above image, that’s not a microphone — don’t press your lips against it.

Speaking of things you shouldn’t touch with your mouth, the Vagina Museum offered ovary-owning individuals indicators that a checkup might be in order:

Persistent bloating is a symptom of ovarian cancer. This includes visible puffing, feeling like you need to fart, or feeling like you’ve eaten something that disagrees with you. “Persistent” means it goes on for 3 weeks or more.

Three weeks does seem an extensive incubation period for a pants-parting puff. Presumably, the final release would be radically ruinous. But what’s even more malignant: ovarian cancer. Here’s to wishing that everyone’s aware — across our supremely sophisticated sexual spectrum.

And among the institutions fighting our carcinomatous scourge, count London’s menagerie that perpetually plugs an unmentionable. Surely the Vagina Museum hopes we find a cure, lickety-split.

In the meantime, please get your ovaries inspected.

College Publishes List of LGBT Terms for Students and Staff — Including ‘Cutie Pock’ and ‘Transmisogynoir’

March 6, 2023 by Alex Parker Leave a Comment

Students and staff at a private Pennsylvania liberal arts school are staying abreast of cultural-lingo updates.

Swarthmore College was founded in 1864, but it’s far from stuck in the past. In fact, the institution keeps an online log of the most current “LGBTQ+” terms.

If you’ve wondered how to refer to individuals at school, work, or church, Swarthmore’s site makes for a brilliant bookmark.

We’re living in an age of identity; the modern man and woman — plus all the other types — love labels.

For those longing to learn, here are some basics:

  • Man: Gender identity label for someone who associates their understanding of self with masculinity; includes cisgender and transgender men.
  • Woman: Gender identity label for someone who associates their understanding of self with femininity; includes cisgender and transgender women.
  • Sex Assigned at Birth: Based on genitals, label of male or female given by an adult or authority figure upon birth.

Now beyond the binary:

  • Allosexual: Identity or descriptor for someone who experiences sexual desire and/or engages in sexual acts.
  • Cisnormativity: Cultural system, repeated and reinforced over time, of being cisgender as the default, typical, and expected gender identity of all individuals that affects many aspects of society and structures.
  • Cishet: Shortening of cisgender and heterosexual; refers to people who identify as both.
  • Demisexual: Sexual orientation label, included under the asexual umbrella, for someone who only experiences sexual attraction after establishing an emotional connection.
  • Greysexual: Sexual orientation label, included under the asexual umbrella, for someone who experiences various degrees of sexual attraction and/or desire but does not identify as allosexual.
  • Latinx/Latiné: Gender-inclusive attempts at describing people of Latin American cultural or ethnic identity.
  • Masculine of Center: Gender identity label for a queer person, typically assigned female at birth but not always, who presents masculinely; most often utilized by queer women of Color.
  • Pangender: Gender identity label, included under the transgender umbrella, for someone who embodies all of the various gender identities.
  • Panromantic: Romantic orientation label for someone who is romantically, or emotionally, attracted to anyone regardless of gender identity.
  • Stealth: Term sometimes used by transgender people seeking to be viewed by others as cisgender in the gender with which they identify, not as visibly transgender; can be controversial in that it implies sneaking and/or deception.

On to top-shelf sophistication:

  • Boi: Sexual orientation and gender label used within queer communities of Color among people assigned female at birth; often refers to queer women who present with masculinity.
  • Stud/AG/Aggressive: Gender identity label for Black, masculine women or non-binary people; often similar to masculine of center identity.
  • Two-Spirit: Indigenous-specific umbrella term that can be related to gender identity and/or sexual orientation that is associated with the overlapping complexity of gender roles, spirituality, and sexuality.
  • CAFAB/CAMAB: Acronyms for Coercively Assigned Female at Birth and Coercively Assigned Male at Birth; used to clarify the labeling or assignment done to newborns who present as intersex and have ambiguous genitals; often involves surgery to modify the genitals and subsequent socialization of the child as the sex and gender assigned.
  • Transmisogynoir: Cultural and interpersonal systems of oppression affecting and against Black, transgender women.

And something cute:

  • BIQTPOC: Acronym for Black and Indigenous Queer and Transgender People of Color; pronounced “bye cutie pock.”

The catalog also calls to “neopronouns,” which “refer to someone in the third person sometimes without connection to gender” and are “typically created by” that person.

Identities are modern-day decoration, and it’s Christmas all year ’round. In a plethora of ways, society has become unprecedentedly adorned:

Cartoon Network Schools Kids on Pronouns: They Define You and Make You Feel Safe

Student Protests University’s ‘Inclusive’ Pronoun Rules, a Petition Demands He Be Kicked out of School

In the Atmosphere of Identity, the Sky’s the Limit: Swoon to the Sweet Song of ‘Bird Gender’

Wokedom’s Newest Confection Takes the Cake: Introducing ‘Cake Gender’

Students Decry College’s Paltry Pronoun Provisions — There’s Not Even a ‘Mushroomself’

Nebraska Eyes Teaching Kindergarteners Gender Identity While Eleven-Year-Olds Study Pansexuality and Demigenderism

Swarthmore is helping usher in a new age, and not just where crotchety categorization is concerned:

College Op-Ed Asks if White People Should Be Kicked out of Parties

LGBT Ecologists Ogle Racist Parks, Nonbinary Frogs, and the Importance of Public Places for Gay Sex

As our cultural complication increases, one must become marvelously mindful. A sentence such as “Carl grabbed his jacket and Bonnie got her coat, and they left for their son’s tactical paintball tournament — he’s a fun guy” now feasibly becomes “Carl grabbed cakeself’s jacket and Bonnie got bunself’s coat, and they left for their pangender allosexual coercively-assigned-male-at-birth child’s heteronormative activity — mushroomself’s a fungi.”

See a more advanced scenario here.

So goes America’s evolution. It’s a new world; try and keep up.
