The Left’s War on Masculinity – Real Men Need Not Apply

May 19, 2023 by Becky Noble Leave a Comment

It is probably safe to say, that the transgender movement really has nothing to do with helping kids, teens, and young adults become who they feel they truly are. There is another darker, more sinister purpose behind it. While the latest round is the attempted erasure of biological women in America, there seems to be a never-ending stream of boys and young men being convinced that what they truly are is a girl. But the war on masculinity can really be traced back to the early women’s movement of the 1960s, when feminist guru Gloria Steinem declared, “A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.” So, while the left’s war on biological women rages on, there is also a parallel war on men, more specifically, a war on masculinity.

The feminazis are always talking “destroy the Patriarchy” and “toxic masculinity.” Now it’s their transgender crap. These people don’t only hate men, they hate America. pic.twitter.com/ffN3pApgTR

— 🇺🇸 🍑Catherine🍑 🇺🇸 (@cat_barnes30) May 18, 2023

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), has seen enough of it, and lays out why this is not a good thing for America. In his new book, “Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs,” Hawley says the premise of the book is simple, “America needs strong men. It needs good men, and we should call men to be those things.” Hawley points out that between the media, the entertainment industry, and corporations, including social media, they relentlessly send out the message to boys and young men that just because they are males, they are somehow responsible for alleged systemic injustice in America, and that their inherent masculinity is “toxic” to society. Makes sense — why else would so many males be indoctrinated to think they are females?

Hawley also points to technology, and easy access to the porn industry, which has led, in large part, to boys and young men being completely apathetic about commitments like marriage and family, which also have been in the crosshairs for the left. Hawley also alluded to prescribing drugs for kids, and that boys are “way overprescribed” behavioral drugs more than girls. He added, “You see this drive to sort of eradicate boyishness from boys.”

One of the most insidious dangers facing our country today is the relentless assault on masculinity! America has a masculinity crisis in government, the workplace and most important, the home. We not only need to bring it back but bring it in Toxic proportions!

— 🇺🇸𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫🇮🇹 (@Godfatherparte2) May 18, 2023

But what do women — more specifically, biological women — think about men being masculine? Our first encounter with a man is usually our father. Fathers play a huge role in the type of men we are attracted to and end up marrying. Unfortunately, many women do not have a strong, dare I say, masculine, father who is in the home, married to their mother, and is a provider and protector for and of the family. If you ask most young women, what type of man they are attracted to, the first thing most will say is one they find attractive. Not gonna lie, most of us like some shirtless pics here and there, especially if it involves muscles. This might be one of the differences between males and females that the left simply cannot erase with surgery and outward appearance.

But for most women, what makes men attractive to us is much more than looks. It is definitely how they treat you. How many boys and young men are being taught today to pull a chair out or hold a car door or other type of door open for a woman? How many are being taught to walk on the outside of the sidewalk? As someone who considers herself a strong independent woman, I certainly don’t need those things, but it is what boys and young men should be taught to do. It is all part of being a man. The way men carry themselves, not just around women, but in general, is important. It is a hard thing to put a finger on, but it is a certain something, a strong masculine presence that as Sen. Hawley said, that boys and young men are being told is “toxic.”

Sen. Hawley also sees the targeting of masculinity as the same ideology as the current virtual erasing of women. He is right. Just look around you. America is in desperate need of masculine men, decisive men, not afraid to act and do what is right, regardless of whether it is politically correct. The goal of the left might be to create a population of gender-fluid zombies, but I am going to bet that real women are going to opt for real masculine men every time.

We need strong men. #WPS #Strongmen #warpoet #masculinity #beaman pic.twitter.com/Pn49iam3wa

Taylor Lorenz: An Authoritarian ‘Journalist’ Flexing Digital Power

May 18, 2023 by Jeff Charles Leave a Comment

Now we know why Taylor Lorenz, a media activist working for The Washington Post, was so devastated when Elon Musk took over Twitter. A new release of the Twitter Files in an article written by journalist Paul Thacker shows that prior to the change in management, Lorenz enjoyed considerable influence over the inner workings of the social media platform. The report not only exposed how the company’s leadership kowtowed to her demands but also how the media activist used her platform to attack her detractors and others who opposed her.

The article discusses the actions and influence of Lorenz in relation to Twitter bans and coordination with left-wing political allies. It reveals that she successfully reported a Twitter account called @fearthefloof—which had published information about her personal life— and got it banned.

Thacker suggests that Lorenz has significant influence within social media companies, with Twitter executives sending alerts to monitor tweets about her. It also highlights instances where Lorenz allegedly coordinated with sources to attack critics and get accounts suspended. Additionally, the article raises questions about Lorenz’s role in doxing individuals and her connections with Twitter officials.

The article further explores Lorenz’s reporting tactics and the impact they’ve had on individuals. It cites examples of her reporting on conservative social media influencer and Libs of Tik Tok creator Chaya Raichik and her subsequent requests to Twitter to suspend her account. The article also points to instances in which Lorenz’s reporting has led to targeted harassment and censorship.

The role of journalists in the digital age is crucial in uncovering the truth, fostering healthy public discourse, and holding those in power accountable. However, there are instances when the actions and behavior of journalists can be seen as authoritarian, raising concerns about the misuse of their influence.

Taylor Lorenz has drawn attention for her approach to journalism, which some critics argue exhibits dictatorial tendencies. Examining Lorenz’s actions and interactions within social media platforms reveals a pattern that raises questions about her exercise of digital power.

Lorenz’s track record suggests a willingness to wield her influence to silence and marginalize voices that challenge her narratives or criticize her reporting. Thacker’s report shows that the media activist regularly reported accounts to social media platforms, resulting in suspensions and bans, often without clear violations of platform rules. The targeting of accounts like @fearthefloof and @LibsofTikTok, as well as individuals such as Stanford professor Jay Bhattacharya, exposes how she used reporting mechanisms to stifle dissent and shape public discourse rather than ensure adherence to the platforms’ terms of service.

Twitter executives have granted Lorenz special privileges, monitoring tweets about her and expressing caution in handling her case. In essence, they functioned as her digital version of the secret police, banning or otherwise throttling accounts that dared to criticize her.

This preferential treatment and coordination with left-wing political allies raise questions about the impartiality and objectivity of her reporting. Additionally, her alleged involvement in coordinating attacks on critics through her sources further exposes her authoritarian tendencies.

Lorenz has been accused of doxing individuals by publishing personal information or linking to it in her articles. The exposure of addresses and other personal details, such as in the case of Chaya Raichik, not only raises ethical concerns but also undermines the principles of responsible journalism, which Lorenz cares nothing about because she is an activist, not a journalist.

It is exceedingly difficult nowadays to identify actual journalists who are dedicated to reporting the truth to their audiences. Yes, they still exist. Unfortunately, too many of them are nothing more than purveyors of propaganda pushing an authoritarian agenda. Folks like Lorenz fall neatly into this category and have far too much power over digital platforms. But there is a silver lining: She and her ilk won’t be able to bully Twitter into doing their bidding any longer.

Matt Gaetz Hilariously Trolls Linda Sanchez After Tweet Dunk Fail on Hearing Witness

May 18, 2023 by Sister Toldjah Leave a Comment

As we previously reported, the House Weaponization Subcommittee hearing on FBI whistleblowers has produced a lot of must-watch moments, including FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle’s powerful testimony on how a weaponized and politicized FBI retaliated against him for speaking out, which not only punished him but his family also, leaving them homeless.

Another was when Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-Calif.) was questioning FBI Staff Operations Specialist Marcus Allen, and had what she clearly thought was a “gotcha” on the Marine who told the committee about his two tours in Iraq, and who testified that the FBI was retaliating against him by suspending his security clearance and withholding his pay for questioning the official narratives surrounding the Capitol riot.

Sanchez, as my RedState colleague Bonchie noted in his write-up, had a printout of a tweet in her hand that was retweeted by someone with the name “Marcus Allen” and some numbers in their Twitter handle (@marcusa97050645). The tweet alleged that then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) “staged January 6th, retweet if you agree.”

Before she asked him about the tweet itself, she asked Allen if that was his Twitter account. He repeatedly told her it wasn’t. She then proceeded to make a fool out of herself by in so many words saying, okay well even if it wasn’t you, do you agree with the sentiment?

It would appear Linda Sanchez found a random Twitter account with 118 followers with the same name as the witness that she brought to the hearing and claimed was his haha. pic.twitter.com/Ix4QajY0I1

— Greg Price (@greg_price11) May 18, 2023

I mean, the saying about how “the stupid, it burns” definitely applied in this situation. But instead of calling her out on it during the hearing – which in and of itself would have been highly amusing, Gaetz took to the Twitter machine to further embarrass Sanchez, finding a random Twitter account with the name “Linda Sanchez,” and saying that the Congresswoman “MUST answer” for the contents of it – which expressed a high degree of support for former President Donald Trump:

Congresswoman Linda Sanchez MUST answer for her tweet! https://t.co/fwVPbGFuVb

— Rep. Matt Gaetz (@RepMattGaetz) May 18, 2023

Gaetz then tagged her on the video clip that is going viral on Twitter of her questioning Allen about a tweet he didn’t write nor retweet.

The House Judiciary GOP also trolled Sanchez:

Didn’t realize @RepLindaSanchez was so MAGA.

Wow! pic.twitter.com/avsIbJMBUa

— House Judiciary GOP (@JudiciaryGOP) May 18, 2023

Relatedly, there are a LOT of “Linda Sanchez” Twitter accounts out there:

We need a crowdsourced investigation of the entire sketchy Linda Sanchez Twitter community for potentially extremist tweetshttps://t.co/udgbADy25k

— David Burge (@iowahawkblog) May 18, 2023

Inquring minds want to know if any or most of them belong to Rep. Sanchez? Presumably not, which to that I say that the others with the same name might want to put disclaimers in their Twitter bios so no one accidentally mistakes them for the foolish Gentle Lady from California who refuses to admit when she’s made a humiliating mistake.

Speculation Abounds as Elon Musk Announces He’s Chosen a New Twitter CEO

May 11, 2023 by Bob Hoge Leave a Comment

Twitter CEO Elon Musk announced in December 2022 that he was stepping down from the role after a user poll showed 57.5 percent of respondents thought he should. On Thursday, he announced that he’s picked a successor and will hand over the reins of the company in six weeks.

He did not name the choice, but indicated that it’s a woman by referring to her as “she.” He also said he would continue as an executive chairman & chief technology officer:

Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks!

My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops.

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 11, 2023

He had previously indicated that he would hire someone else for the position, tweeting in December, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job!”

I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) December 21, 2022

Musk has made a huge number of changes in his time at the helm:

After acquiring Twitter in October [2022], Musk made major changes to the company and its platform. In an effort to significantly slash costs, the company has cut roughly 75% of its 7,500-person workforce, raising concerns about Twitter’s capacity to maintain its platform.

Twitter suffered a user outage in February that lasted for hours and required an emergency fix, prompting an apology from the company.

Musk has also sought to rejuvenate the platform’s subscription offering as a means of supplementing its advertising revenue. Under Twitter’s new subscription, users gain access to account verification — the site’s signature blue checkmark — for an $8 monthly fee, which amounts to $96 per year.

He also expanded and improved a crowdsourced fact-checking and context-adding feature called “Birdwatch”—now “Community Notes”—which has led to some delicious takedowns of politicians and blowhards who are now getting fact-checked for their misinformation:

Twitter’s Community Notes Wrecks Teachers Union Boss Randi Weingarten—Again

MSNBC Meltdown: Mehdi Hasan Has a Hissy Fit Over Being Fact-Checked on Racial Crime Stats

Community Notes Comes in off the Top Rope Again to Nail Joe Biden

Hilarious Tantrum by Progressive Journalist When He Gets ‘Checked’ by Twitter Community Notes

Who might the new CEO be? Humorous tweeters “speculated” on the person who will get the presumably large corner office (parody):

It’s finally happening… 😉pic.twitter.com/2KmhGVtxmj

— Chief Nerd (@TheChiefNerd) May 11, 2023

Musk certainly has a way of keeping his name in the news these days. It was just on Tuesday that former Fox News host Tucker Carlson dropped a bombshell video announcing that he will air his new show on Twitter. Although the show is likely to bring millions of viewers, Musk wanted to make clear that he did not sign a deal with Carlson, tweeting:

On this platform, unlike the one-way street of broadcast, people are able to interact, critique and refute whatever is said.

And, of course, anything misleading will get @CommunityNotes.

I also want to be clear that we have not signed a deal of any kind whatsoever. Tucker is subject to the same rules & rewards of all content creators.

He also welcomed voices from the other side of the aisle, writing “I hope that many others, particularly from the left, also choose to be content creators on this platform.”

It will be interesting to see who the new mystery CEO turns out to be. Let the speculation begin!
