The ‘Trad-Wives’ Get a New Hip Hop Anthem and Women are Loving It

The new trend sweeping TikTok has feminists fuming but has men everywhere applauding and women becoming interested. The trend is called “trad wife” and while it might be a “trend,” it has all the groundswell to become something more.

And now they have an anthem courtesy of musician Bryson Gray.

The “trad wife” trend features young women living out the same roles their grandmothers and great-grandmothers did long ago; being a housewife. They cook, clean, raise and teach the children, and run the home as the husband leaves daily to be the breadwinner. It’s a dynamic humanity is very familiar with and one that modernity has done its absolute best to destroy.

While it certainly did some very real damage to the traditional lifestyle, many women are finding the trad-wife trend far more fulfilling and less stressful, especially in the post-COVID world where the economy is unstable and education is both expensive and too often dangerous.

Enter musician and commentator Bryson Gray who uploaded a song called the “Homemaker’s Anthem,” which celebrates these hardworking wives and mothers and their quest to help provide a stable and well-run home.

The hip-hop song points out the difference between a traditional girl and a leftist girl.

You can hear the song in the video below.

The comments on this video are both touching and tragic. It’s filled to the brim with women who are grateful to Gray for making a song that makes them feel seen. One commenter even says the song made her feel emotional.

“Not me screaming these lyrics out loud while mixing my zucchini bread with my baby on my hip& kids all dancing at the kitchen table while studying,” said one commenter.

Some women duetted the video to create their own TikToks.

For too long, many women who chose this lifestyle were belittled and mocked by mainstream feminism. Since feminism is the media’s chosen philosophy on women, the housewife and homemaker became something of an undeserved villain, blamed for encouraging women to take steps backward back into patriarchal bondage.

Even now, the backlash against the “trad-wife” trend has been ugly, with many people claiming that it’s attempting to empower sexism and even white supremacy, though there’s not been any real evidence of this.

The tragedy of this is that the homemaker is arguably one of the most important jobs human civilization has ever had. The family is the bedrock of society and a healthy family begins with a healthy and well-run home. The disappearance of women from the role of homemaker hasn’t been good for society.

Not every woman can embrace that role or actually prefers having a career, and that’s fine as well. There are many situations where being a stay-at-home mom isn’t an option. However, it’s clear that demeaning women who choose to be a homemaker isn’t wise or fair.

According to VeryWellFamily.com, there’s a marked decrease and aggression in children, children’s test scores are higher under the tutelage of their mothers, and in an age where activists posing as educators lurk around every corner, the child is far safer from being indoctrinated with radical ideologies behind the parent’s backs.

The homemaker is a solid bedrock from which all of society can grow and its importance can’t be overstated.

Once again, it was C.S. Lewis who put the importance of the stay-at-home mom in perspective as compared to all other jobs, as he calls it the “ultimate career.”

“The homemaker has the ultimate career. All other careers exist for one purpose only – and that is to support the ultimate career.”

#1 – Turley Raises a Big Question about J6 Chansley Case, Then Elon Drops a Bombshell Video — by Nick Arama

They showed videos of Chansley yelling at the crowd. But what they didn’t show was this kind of video, of him peacefully walking around with the officers not threatening anyone. It showed that he wasn’t the character being portrayed to the judge in his case, which may have factored into why he got such a stiff sentence for non-violent action.
Not only does Chansley have Carlson and Turley asking questions about his case, but now he has Twitter owner Elon Musk as well. Musk commented on the video that Carlson had shown about Chansley on his show, showing him being guided around by the police.

#2 – Biden Laughs About IRS Going After Americans, as Yellen Gives Away His Huge Lie — by Nick Arama

So Smith asked what are they talking about when they’re talking about “will not see an increase” — did she mean the total number of new IRS audits or a proportionate number based on historic levels?
“I’m talking about the proportion of those small businesses and families,” Yellen responded.
“Okay. So the proportion, I mean, just for the record, the proportion is 90%,” said Smith, referencing the GAO report. “So 90% of the new audits will be, you know, according to the data, that we can expect up to 90% of new audits to be on those making less than $400,000.”
Oh, so they were playing word games with us. They’re still going to have 90 percent of the new audits falling on us. What weasels. Not that we didn’t know that Joe was lying, but they are such slimy liars, particularly playing these word games.

However, the media is acting as if this is a contagion that needs to be suppressed and destroyed ASAP. People on TikTok are going after these women as if they were social pariahs, denouncing and belittling them at every turn.
While I won’t deny that there are some performative aspects to this growing TikTok trend, as I suspect everything on TikTok to be at least a little theatrical, I don’t see these women looking down on others for not being like them. Moreover, I don’t see them spreading or endorsing any kind of evil. There are bad apples in every tree, but I haven’t seen enough to convince me this is the breeding ground of racism and bigotry like some have claimed.
The question I have to ask is why these people are reacting so negatively to this traditional wife trend.

#4 – Kevin McCarthy Goes There in Speech, Goes off on Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell for Lying — by Jerry Wilson

It is simultaneously refreshing and exciting that McCarthy would be so blunt in his comments. It is also a mite puzzling. Given how much of modern politics is constantly pointing toward the next election, looking for any pull-quote usable to bolster one’s standing among the faithful, not providing same is standard operational procedure. McCarthy’s comments are blue-meat fodder for Schiff’s Senatorial campaign.
They also are usable by Swalwell. Despite the laughable failure of his 2020 presidential campaign, Swalwell clearly has his eye on higher office, most likely the governorship whenever Newsom tires of the job. Perhaps McCarthy is, in his way, living out something Hawkeye Pierce said on M*A*S*H:
You know what a hero is? Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, he’s somebody who’s tired enough and cold enough and hungry enough not to give a damn. I don’t give a damn.

#5 – Taibbi Drops Yet Another Dem With a Little Reality — by Nick Arama

Not only did she ask, but Garcia did as well, as the first video in this story showed.
Taibbi is just on fire, he’s calling all these Democrats out on their lies.
He also made an interesting observation about Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-NY) who hilariously claimed that there wasn’t “any direct government censorship of lawful speech.” Notice the “weasel word” in there, “direct.” If they don’t explicitly say the word “ban” they’re not trying to get the person they flag to Twitter banned, wink wink, it’s not “direct.” But Rep. Jim Jordan (D-OH) dropped him with an example of a request to censor Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

It started with young women half-joking about being angry with the feminist movement for “liberating” women so they now have to get up to go to work to pay their own bills.

The BBC made a skit off the back of this complaint that, while meant as a joke, ended up being a perfect way that described how many women felt about their “liberation.” They say the left can’t meme, but this skit proves they can do so ironically.

Then a trend on TikTok began emerging that gained traction very quickly. It was women simply posting their daily lives as traditional housewives. They cooked, they cleaned, they looked nice for their breadwinning husband, and they took care of the children during the day.

It’s a trend being called “tradwife.”

As you can see in some of the TikToks, there are quite a bit of aesthetic choices taken from the 1950s, from the hairstyles to the manner of dress.

You know in the western world of the modern day, this wasn’t going to fly with many, many people, namely women. The reasons are varied. Some are wives who don’t want their husbands to see a woman doing something that would make them look bad or set “unrealistic expectations” about their marriage while some called this TikTok content a “kink.”

But for feminists, this trend is dangerous because it invites a return to the sexism and racism of old. As Fox News reported, various mainstream publications have now jumped on the trend, attempting to discredit and excoriate it as evil:

“The new trend for submissive women has a dark heart and history,” reads one headline from The Guardian.
An article from Hypebae slapped the videos as “disturbing,” writing “[they] typically feature a cis straight white women, longing for the ’50s – an era where some women could opt out of participate in the corporate working world and be stay-at-home mothers instead.”
And a third from Grazia magazine accused the trend of “romanticizing an era where sexism and racism ruled.”

But is it? Not according to the young women who engage in it. According to them, while they may accept the “ultra-traditional” role that the woman’s place is in the home, they aren’t saying that other women need to follow their lead. They just chose this for themselves, especially after work/life balance became hard to maintain in the post-COVID age.

However, the media is acting as if this is a contagion that needs to be suppressed and destroyed ASAP. People on TikTok are going after these women as if they were social pariahs, denouncing and belittling them at every turn.

The question I have to ask is why these people are reacting so negatively to this traditional wife trend.

The answers are nuanced from group to group, but they all share the common thread of being threatened by these women. Why are these women so threatening?

Because men, for the most part, love the idea of a traditional wife, and for many young women, being in a committed relationship is one of their heart’s greatest desires. If they find out that this is what men like, then they’ll begin the process of making themselves into more traditional women.

And more traditional women don’t really have too much time for feminist ideals, and women who don’t have time for feminist ideals don’t tend to be easily swayed to advocate for certain political policies. It’s definitely a lot harder to instill those political positions into their children as well.

When the mainstream left and its feminist allies say there’s a danger…that’s the danger.

At the end of the day, the choice to be a traditional housewife or a working woman is up to the individual. Every choice has its pros and its cons and each person handles these aspects differently.

But there is no denying that traditionalism when it comes to homemaking has a particular magic to it that seems fulfilling. Men love being breadwinners and having loving, caring wives. Women want to feel safe, provided for, and admired. The nuclear family scratches all of these itches and traditionalism seems to intensify the validation for a growing number of women.
