Levin: They’re criminalizing prayer

If you were told you could be arrested for silently praying, would you believe it?

Well, apparently, you should believe it. Because it’s happening right now in Great Britain — and with the way things are going, it could come to America too.

So, Mark Levin of “LevinTV” is shedding light on it.

“Earlier this week,” he begins, “the most pathetic, political, ideologically driven attorney general in American History, Merrick Garland … was questioned about the number of people they have prosecuted who have peacefully protested outside of abortion clinics versus the number of people they prosecuted for firebombing pregnancy centers.”

Apparently, Garland said they have a harder time prosecuting the fire-bombers because they occur at night when it’s harder to see them. Amazing.

Levin goes on to tell the story of Mark Houck, a preacher who was with his son in front of one of the abortion clinics. One of the people escorting a woman into the clinic had confronted his son and was getting aggressive with him.

So, Houck, like any good father would, pushed the man back from his son to protect him.

Houck was later sued, and the federal government got involved. He was charged with violating the FACE Act — which says that you’re not allowed to threaten people who are going into abortion clinics physically.

The case was thrown out, but good old Merrick Garland wouldn’t stand for it.

Levin says, “Mr. Garland still went after this gentleman, and they lost their case quickly in a jury trial in Philadelphia — where I don’t think the pro-life movement gets much colder there does it? So, this is a disgusting assault on free speech by the Biden administration.”

He then goes on to tell the story of a Catholic woman in Great Britain who was arrested for silently praying outside an abortion clinic — just weeks after being acquitted for the same offense.

“Britain’s gone over the edge,” he says.

The woman has been praying outside that same abortion clinic for 20 years, 19 of which were never a problem.

The problem began when the U.K. passed new amendments to the Public Order Bill last year.

Levin says this sounds all too familiar.

He says, “Biden’s DOJ has been prosecuting people for something called the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances act. It prosecuted Mark Houck.”

He continues, “If the leftists continue to control our government, you can bet the FACE Act will make it illegal to silently pray one day … that’s what will happen.”

Levin: Narco terror on the border

We lose 100,000 people a year to fentanyl.

The only war in which we have lost more people a year was the Civil War.

There is a crisis of drugs, violence, and immigration at the border, and it’s not only gotten completely out of hand — but it’s being completely ignored.

This is in part, as Levin explains, the “failure of the Mexican government to be a government of law and order. That’s why we have illegal immigration going on in this country.”

Levin shows clips from a Vice documentary, where there were discovered mass graves in Central America containing the bodies of 72 immigrants who were executed military style by Los Zetas — a powerful and violent crime syndicate in Mexico which is considered by the U.S. government to be the most technologically advanced, sophisticated, and dangerous cartel in Mexico.

Following this discovery, a mass grave of 193 bodies was recovered in San Fernando.

And then in 2014, two men were thought to have stolen money from the Zetas. The Zetas’ retaliation? Armed units came to their town and destroyed 80 homes with heavy machinery and murdered somewhere between 300 to 500 people.

Vice says that it’s important to remember that this is all a consequence of the drug war.

Levin then asks, “How do you justify an open border? How do you justify people coming into this country illegally?”

He continues, “We don’t know who they are and where they’re going. Knowing all of this, which the Biden administration knows this and a whole lot more — this is a massive failure.”

The stories told in the Vice documentary are horrific. The number of innocent men, women, and children who have been brutally murdered in the war on drugs is astronomical and devastating.

We can’t let this seep over into our border, but first, we need our leaders to acknowledge that it’s a problem.

Levin: Marx a ‘sit-on-your-ass revolutionary of sorts’

When they’re praising Karl Marx’s manifesto on NPR, you know things have gotten bad.

NPR host Brooke Gladstone starts the segment saying, “There have been periodic spasms of resistance [to the free-market system], efforts of the disaffected to rouse themselves from the fever dream.”

She continues, “Often the instrument of that arousal is yet another doctrine, another piece of propaganda even older than the one it seeks to displace. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels’ slender volume appeared in 1848 for many of those betrayed by the so-called free market. In the years since, the pamphlet has offered refuge, inspiration, and argument.”

Levin, author of “American Marxism” and BlazeTV host of LevinTV, has a lot to say about this. He retorts: “Marx was a slouch. He was lazy; he lived off his father’s money. His father was a lawyer in Germany. He spent a lot of time in Britain. Friedrich Engels helped subsidize him. He played the British stock market. Believe it or not, he also wrote for a New York newspaper for about 12 years. He was a sit-on-your-ass revolutionary of sorts.”

Basically, Marx was a loser.

While most of us are aware of that, it seems the hosts at NPR are not. They continue effusively praising “The Communist Manifesto” while taking shots at capitalism, which, Mark points out, makes no sense.

He says “Communist China is communist, but it has to steal technological development from a capitalist society in order to advance its society, because on its own it’s not going to develop anything.”

Those who loathe the free market yet like all the shiny things that come with it don’t seem to understand the way the free market works.
