‘This is what an invasion looks like’: Video shows Mexican train reportedly ‘bursting’ with migrants heading to US southern border

September 17, 2023 by Paul Sacca Leave a Comment

A Mexican train is transporting dozens of migrants to the U.S. southern border, according to a new report.

Fox News national correspondent Griff Jenkins posted an alarming video of the migrant train on the X social media platform on Sunday afternoon.

Griff captioned the video: “FOX News sources capture a FerroMex train bursting with migrants out of Zacatecas heading to our southern border right now… cheering and clearly not heeding the message: ‘do not come.”

Zacatecas is a Mexican state located in north-central Mexico.

The FerroMex website states: “We operate the largest railroad network in Mexico, with more than 6,200 miles of track covering the major industrial and commercial zones in the country, connecting with the rest of the world through 8 seaports and 6 border crossings.”

Griff was quoting Vice President Harris from June 2021.

During a press conference in Guatemala with the Central America country’s president, Harris told migrants, “I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border. Do not come. Do not come. The United States will continue to enforce our laws and secure our border.”

President Joe Biden tapped Kamala as the country’s border czar in March 2021. Harris has only visited the U.S. southern border once since being tasked with handling the illegal immigration crisis.

The video of the migrant train went viral online, racking up half a million views in less than two hours. The footage caught the attention of concerned Republicans and conservatives.

Republican Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona declared, “This is what an invasion looks like. Nothing about this is regular or lawful.”

Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) demanded, “This must be stopped immediately. The @SenateDems must take up @GOPHouseOfRep passed H.R. 2, impeach @SecMayorkas for allowing our country to be invaded and American lives lost, and stop ALL funding to these nations who allow our borders to be overrun. Call your Senators and tell them to pass H.R. 2 Secure The Border Act.”

NewsNation national correspondent Jorge Ventura reacted by saying, “The Biden administration can keep putting out the messaging that the ‘border is closed,’ it’s clear migrants coming to the U.S. border don’t believe it.”

Podcast host Monica Crowley tweeted, “INVASION.”

Also on Sunday, Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin shared a video of “numerous illegal immigrants dressed in camouflage using ropes to scale the border wall, then run off into the desert without apprehension in Naco, AZ.”

Melgin noted that there have been more than 1.5 million “gotaways” since Joe Biden became president.

The New York Post reported in May, “More than 1.5 million illegal migrants have slipped into the U.S. since Joe Biden took office — more than three times the number recorded during the last three years of Trump’s presidency, Department of Homeland Security data shows.”

Trump vows to work with Democrats on abortion to make sure ‘both sides will be happy,’ declares heartbeat bills a ‘terrible thing,’ says Biden isn’t too old during ‘Meet the Press’ interview

September 17, 2023 by Paul Sacca Leave a Comment

Former President Donald Trump gave a wide-ranging interview to new “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker. The interview hit on several topics, including the 2020 election, the possibility of Trump going to prison, President Joe Biden’s age, and abortion.

Trump vows to work with Democrats on abortion

Trump criticized Republicans for speaking “very inarticulately” about abortion. He also vowed to work with Democrats to make sure “both sides will be happy.”

Trump said pro-lifers “have the right to negotiate for the first time” because the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. WadeRoe v. Wade in June 2022.

The former president said the Democrats are the “radical people” on the abortion issue. He said Democrats are in favor of abortion “after five months, six months, seven months, eight months, nine months, and even after birth you’re allowed to terminate the baby.”

Welker questioned Trump’s assertion, and he pointed to controversial comments about third-semester abortions made in 2019 by then-Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam – a Democrat.

Trump stated that abortion is a “50/50 issue” with Americans.

Trump promised an abortion policy “where everybody comes together.”

Trump then contradicted his previous remarks by saying, “Democrats don’t want to see abortion in the seventh month, okay. I speak to a lot of Democrats. They want a number. There is a number, and there’s a number that’s going to be agreed to.”

He added, “Because Democrats don’t want to be radical on the issue, most of them, some do. They don’t want to be radical on the issue. They don’t want to kill a baby in the seventh month or the ninth month or after birth.”

“I think the Republicans speak very inarticulately about this subject,” Trump said of his own party. “I watch some of them without the exceptions, et cetera, et cetera.”

When Welker asked Trump if he would sign a 15-week ban on abortion, he replied, “I would sit down with both sides and I’d negotiate something, and we’ll end up with peace on that issue for the first time in 52 years. I’m not going to say I would or I wouldn’t.”

Trump then attacked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for signing the Heartbeat Protection Act, which prohibits abortions once the unborn child has a detectible heartbeat or as early as six weeks of pregnancy.

When asked if he would support similar heartbeat bills, Trump proclaimed, “I think what he did is a terrible thing and a terrible mistake.”

Trump told the “Meet the Press” host, “I have exceptions, by the way. I think people should have exceptions. I think if it’s rape or incest or the life of the mother, I think you have to have exceptions. It’s very important.”

Trump avoided Welker’s question of when he believes abortion should be illegal.

“It could be state or it could be federal,” Trump said. “I don’t, frankly, care.”

On the issue of abortion with Democrats, Trump told Welker, “I think they’ll — I think they’re all going to like me. I think both sides are going to like me.”

He said of Republicans and Democrats, “We’re going to agree — no — we’re going to agree to a number of weeks or months or however you want to define it. And both sides are going to come together and both sides — both sides, and this is a big statement, both sides will come together.”

Trump doesn’t think Biden is too old to be president

Welker asked about calls for a “new generation of leaders in this country.”

“Well, it’s always time for a new generation,” Trump answered. “But, you know, some of the greatest world leaders have been in their 80s.”

“I’m not anywhere very near 80, by the way,” he continued. “And Biden’s not too old. I don’t think Biden’s too old. But I think he’s incompetent, and that’s a bigger problem. I don’t think 80 is old.”

If elected president, Trump would be 78 on Inauguration Day – the same age that Biden was when he began his first term in 2021.

Trump claimed that he has genetics on his side because his father lived to 93 and his mother lived to 88.

Trump says he didn’t listen to advice from his lawyers to not challenge the 2020 election results

Trump said he didn’t listen to his lawyers about challenging the results of the 2020 election because he “didn’t respect them.”

Welker pointed out that Trump hired the lawyers, and he responded, “Sure. But that doesn’t mean – you hire them, you never met these people. You get a recommendation. They turn out to be RINOs, or they turn out to be not so good. In many cases, I didn’t respect them. But I did respect others. I respected many others that said the election was rigged.”

“You know who I listen to? Myself. I saw what happened,” he asserted. “I watched that election, and I thought the election was over at 10 o’clock in the evening.”

Trump says he’s not afraid of going to prison

When asked if he is worried about possibly going to jail, Trump said, “No, I don’t really. I don’t even think about it. I’m built a little differently I guess.”

“I don’t even think about it. These are corrupt people that I’m dealing with,” he stressed. “They’re destroying our country. I don’t even think about it. All I think about is making the country great, making America great. Look, these are political, these are banana republic indictments. These are third-world indictments.”

Video: Armed man impersonating federal agent arrested at RFK Jr. event – just 2 miles from where his father was assassinated

September 16, 2023 by Paul Sacca Leave a Comment

An armed man impersonating a federal agent was arrested at an event in California where Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was speaking.

RFK Jr. was speaking at a Hispanic Heritage Month event at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday.

An armed man reportedly attempted to access the event, and identified himself as a member of Kennedy’s security detail.

“The man, wearing two shoulder holsters with loaded pistols and spare ammunition magazines was carrying a U.S. Marshal badge on a lanyard and belt clip federal ID,” RFK Jr. wrote on the X social media platform.

RFK Jr. explained that “fast-acting protectors from Gavin de Becker and Associates (GDBA) spotted and detained an armed man who attempted to approach” him at the event. The security team held the suspect until officers with the Los Angeles Police Department arrived to arrest the armed man.

The suspect never brandished the gun or threatened anyone, police told KABC-TV.

ABC News reported, “He was taken to Wilshire Station where it was decided that LAPD would remain the lead agency. The suspect will ‘probably be booked on a gun charge,’ according to the station’s Watch Commander.”

The FBI has been notified.

Video shows the bearded man wearing boots and sunglasses being arrested by LAPD officers.

The scary incident occurred less than two miles from where the 69-year-old presidential hopeful’s father – Sen. Robert F. Kennedy – was assassinated on June 5, 1968, by Sirhan Sirhan, just hours after winning the Democratic California presidential primary. Robert F. Kennedy assassination happened at the former Ambassador Hotel, which was later developed as Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools after the hotel was demolished in 2005.

Following the alarming arrest, Kennedy Jr. called on President Joe Biden to furnish him with Secret Service protection.

“I’m still entertaining a hope that President Biden will allow me Secret Service protection,” RFK Jr. wrote. “I am the first presidential candidate in history to whom the White House has denied a request for protection.”

According to the official Secret Service website:

Major presidential and vice presidential candidates and their spouses within 120 days of a general presidential election. As defined in statute, the term “major presidential and vice presidential candidates” means those individuals identified as such by the Secretary of Homeland Security after consultation with an advisory committee.

Biden caught in lie that he taught ‘political theory’ at University of Pennsylvania, claims he was ‘raised in the synagogues’

September 15, 2023 by Paul Sacca Leave a Comment

President Joe Biden was caught in a lie that he taught “political theory” at the University of Pennsylvania. However, there is no evidence that Biden taught a single class at UPenn.

Biden gave a speech at Prince George’s Community College in Maryland on Thursday. The 80-year-old president asserted that democracy is “under attack.”

“Our democracy is under attack, and we got to fight for it,” Biden claimed.

Biden alleged, “I taught at the University of Pennsylvania for four years and I used to teach political theory. And folks, you always hear, every generation has to fight for democracy.”

There is no proof that Biden taught at the University of Pennsylvania.

In April 2022, Biden made a similar mischaracterization of his role at the University of Pennsylvania.

“I’ve been to a lot of university campuses,” Biden told the audience at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. “Matter of fact, for four years, I was a full professor at the University of Pennsylvania. And this is really an impressive place with a lot of impressive students.”

A Politifact fact-check said of the claim: “However, the duration of the position was closer to two years than four, since he was on leave while running for president. Also, his duties might not conform to the full range of activities that the public might associate with the term ‘full professor,’ including teaching semester-long classes, conducting independent research, and handling administrative responsibilities.”

Snopes declared his UPenn role as “honorary.”

The fact-check site added, “He gave lectures and talks to students on campus, but did not teach a full semester’s course load during that time.”

Biden was an honorary professor at the University of Pennsylvania, serving as the Benjamin Franklin presidential professor of the practice from February 2017 to April 2019, according to the university’s website.

The University of Pennsylvania paid Biden more than $900,000, according to financial records.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported in 2019:

The former vice president collected $371,159 in 2017 plus $540,484 in 2018 and early 2019 for a vaguely defined role that involved no regular classes and around a dozen public appearances on campus, mostly in big, ticketed events. Penn’s payments to Biden raised eyebrows and questions among some in the community when they were revealed this week as part of the financial disclosures for his presidential campaign. The average salary for a Penn professor was $217,411 in the 2017-18 academic year, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education. Biden’s official title was the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor — the first person to hold that job — and he also lent his name to the school’s effort to expand its footprint on international affairs.

According to the Daily Pennsylvanian, Biden joined a panel about cancer with UPenn president Amy Gutmann, made an appearance with former Mexico President Felipe Calderon, delivered a lecture to Wharton graduate students, joined a forum on immigration with Jeb Bush, spoke at a voter registration event, did a question-and-answer session, and used a university event to plug his “Promise Me, Dad” book.

In February 2019, the University of Pennsylvania opened the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, D.C. The think tank is self-described as being “founded on the principle that a democratic, open, secure, tolerant, and interconnected world benefits all Americans.”

In April 2022, an ethics watchdog group called for the federal government to investigate anonymous donations from China to the University of Pennsylvania. Between January 2014 and June 2019, UPenn reportedly received $54.6 million in donations from China – including $23.1 million in anonymous donations.

In November 2022, the FBI reportedly searched the Penn Biden Center offices after Biden’s lawyers allegedly found roughly 10 classified documents there.

On Monday, Biden gave a speech touching on the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. There, Biden spewed another lie.

“Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of Hell, it looked so devastating because the way you could — from where you could stand,” Biden said.

However, Biden was in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 12, 2021.

On Wednesday, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby completely dodged a question about numerous falsehoods that Biden has recently fabricated.

Washington Times reporter Jeff Mordock asked Kirby, “The president has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the Sept. 11 attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, claimed his grandfather died in the hospital days before his birth. What is going on with the president? Is he just believing things that didn’t happen did happen, or is he just randomly making stuff up?”

Kirby refused to address the question.

On Thursday, Biden issued another questionable claim when he told a group of rabbis that he was “raised in the synagogues” of Delaware.

“I, you might say, was raised in the synagogues of my state. You think I’m kidding, I’m not,” Biden said during a call ahead of the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, which begins on Friday.

The New York Post noted, “Biden’s 2007 memoir ‘Promises to Keep’ doesn’t contain a single use of the word ‘synagogue’ and its seven uses of the words ‘Jews’ and ‘Jewish’ all are when discussing history or politics. Beth Shalom is not mentioned. His 2017 book ‘Promise Me, Dad’ has similarly sparse mentions of Judaism.”

Biden’s White House won’t vow to decouple Ukraine aid from relief funding for US victims of Florida hurricane and Maui wildfires

September 9, 2023 by Paul Sacca Leave a Comment

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has gone on the record proclaiming that the Biden administration will not vow to decouple billions of taxpayer dollars going to Ukraine from relief funding for American victims of Hurricane Idalia in Florida and the wildfires in Maui, Hawaii.

During Wednesday’s White House press briefing, Jean-Pierre was asked if disaster relief funds should be decoupled from additional aid to Ukraine.

“Look, we see them both as incredibly important,” Jean-Pierre replied. “I just laid out at the top what we saw happen in Ukraine: 16 civilians died.”

“We — we are going to see the President go to the G20, talking about our commitment for Ukraine and making sure that the people of Ukraine — who are bravely fighting for their sovereignty, for their democracy — has what they need to fight against Russia’s aggression,” she continued.

Jean-Pierre said the American aid to Ukraine was “important to help a country continue to fight for their democracy.”

She said that President Joe Biden believes that it is “our job” and “duty” to “make sure that Ukraine continues to fight, again, for their sovereignty, for their democracy.”

Biden’s mouthpiece proclaimed, “We’re not going to get into hypotheticals from here about decoupling anything at this time.”

She added, “These are vital programs. These are vital, important government programs that need to be done.”

The Florida Phoenix reported:

FEMA has projected at least a $4 billion deficit with the disaster relief fund. The Biden administration in August proposed a supplemental package to Congress, including $12 million for disaster relief to pay for recent natural disasters like the fire in Maui and now the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia. But in the same spending package, the president sought more than $24 billion in additional funding for Ukraine’s military needs in their battle against Russia.

While Biden’s White House is seemingly hesitant to untie the Ukraine aid to the relief funds of devastating natural disasters in the United States, Florida Republicans are attempting to separate the two causes.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) introduced the Federal Disaster Responsibility Act – legislation to decouple American disaster relief from Ukrainian aid. The legislation would provide the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s disaster relief fund with $16.5 billion.

“When disaster strikes, families can’t be left wondering whether the federal government is going to show up or if they’ll be strung along while Washington uses them as a bargaining chip in a massive spending bill,” Scott said in a statement. “Funding for Ukraine should NEVER be paired with disaster relief for American families. Congress has passed all of the provisions in this bill before, and it needs to do its job and get that done again.”

Rubio added, “One of the most basic functions of the U.S. Government is, and should continue to be, to help Americans when disasters hit. Sadly, the Biden Administration intentionally withheld a budget request for the Disaster Relief Fund for months after acknowledging a funding shortfall to leverage it in exchange for unrelated spending.”

“Congress must hold the administration accountable for this cynical conduct that has jeopardized disaster response, and must pass this straightforward bill as soon as possible,” Rubio concluded.

Illinois Democratic Senator Tammy Duckworth declared she would block the proposed legislation, and said it was necessary to tie American disaster relief to Ukraine aid.

“I would [block Scott’s bill]. I think it’s important to include Ukrainian funding,” Duckworth told reporters.

Just this week, the Pentagon announced a new $600 million package of long-term aid to Ukraine – including weapons and other equipment for the country’s war against Russia.

On Wednesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited Ukraine and pledged to provide the nation with $1 billion in new military and humanitarian aid.

The Council on Foreign Relations estimates the U.S. government has provided Ukraine with $76.8 billion in aid between Jan. 24, 2022, and May 31, 2023. The non-partisan think tank notes that the estimate does not include all U.S. spending on the war between Ukraine and Russia.
