Kirk Cameron’s children’s book about humility releases just in time for Pride Month

Kirk Cameron’s new children’s book, which is meant to teach kids about humility, was scheduled for release on June 1, the day that marks the beginning of the annual month-long celebration of the LGBT movement known as Pride Month.

Cameron’s aptly titled “Pride Comes Before the Fall” marks his second kids’ book with Brave Books.

“BRAVE Books has partnered with Kirk Cameron to write a second book, Pride Comes Before the Fall. Officially releasing June 1, Pride Comes Before the Fall is a Christian, children’s book that teaches kids the dangers of being prideful and the importance of having a humble spirit instead,” the Brave Books website states.

During an interview with Jennifer Oliver O’Connell, Cameron, who is widely known for his time acting on the television show “Growing Pains,” said that he “had a personal problem with pride” and “struggled with pride growing up.”

“It was the value … of the kindness and grace of God that humbled me,” Cameron explained. He said that he learned “it is better … to focus on God and loving your neighbor than to focus on self-exaltation and self-expression.”

Each year of his presidency so far, President Joe Biden has proclaimed June as Pride Month and urged Americans “to wave their flags of pride high.”

The White House currently has a Pride Month graphic posted on social media, as does the U.S. Navy.

“June 1 marks the start of ‘ME MONTH,’ also known as ‘Pride Month.’ Pride is the deadliest of the seven deadly sins, so rather than glorify it, I’m calling on all God-fearing Americans to shift their focus to the life-giving virtue of humility. That’s what my brand-new book is about!” Cameron tweeted. “This book teaches children the importance of humility and serving others through a story they will love.”

Princeton professor rededicates the month of June to God, family, and country, prioritizing virtue over vice

Rather than devote the next thirty days to what was up until recently regarded by many Americans as a deadly sin, a Princeton professor of jurisprudence has declared June to be “Fidelity Month.”

Dr. Robert George, director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University, is imploring Americans to take this time to acknowledge the “importance of fidelity to God, spouses and families, our country, and our communities.”

George indicated in a May 6 statement that what prompted him to act were the perturbing findings of a recent Wall Street Journal-NORC poll.

The poll, conducted at the University of Chicago and published in March, highlighted a “precipitous decline” in the perceived importance of patriotism, religious faith, having children, and community involvement among Americans as compared with respondents’ answers 25 years earlier.

Whereas in 1998, 70% of respondents deemed patriotism to be very important, only 38% said so in 2023.

Twenty-five years ago, 62% said religion was important. Now, only 39% believe that to be the case.

While other priorities once held dear by the majority have similarly slipped, the poll noted a steady increase in the perceived importance of wealth.

Recognizing that the “values that used to unite Americans despite our many differences” are rapidly waning and convinced that the mental health crisis among young people is linked, George wrote, “by the authority vested in me by absolutely no one, I have declared June to be ‘Fidelity Month.'”

Hunter Baker, a political science professor and dean of arts and sciences at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, indicated that this “response to the decadence of so-called ‘Pride Month’ … that ubiquitously celebrates aberrant sexual practices” evinces the spirit of the successful anti-communist Solidarity movement in Poland that helped liberate the nation from the Soviets.

“Fidelity means being faithful — faithful to the values that are most important; being faithful in our spiritual lives, in our marriages, in our lives as citizens and members of communities,” George told the Stream in a recent interview. “Fidelity means honoring one’s obligations and commitments. It means keeping one’s promises, being true to one’s word. To be faithful, one must have integrity; often one must have courage.”

As opposed to the LGBT activists’ kaleidoscopic flag signaling various sexual preferences, George recommended instead advancing a symbol of a myrtle wreath, signifying fidelity.

“The circular shape of the wreath is representative of God and His eternal nature, while the openness at the top of the wreath is suggestive of a divine embrace,” said George. “The branches and leaves that compose the wreath signify a family that is dependent upon and in union with God. The star and stripe at the center bottom of the wreath symbolize our common union as Americans — ‘one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.'”

As for the color scheme, gold reportedly symbolizes both generosity and compassion, while blue symbolizes “truth, loyalty, responsibility, and peace.”

Unlike other flags flown this time of year signifying vice, this activist flag would ultimately signify virtue.

“Use the symbol to make and fly a Fidelity Month flag. Use the symbol as your Facebook banner or profile picture or on your website. Think of other things to do,” said George.

The professor underscored the importance of parents, teachers, coaches, and role models of other sorts providing a strong example for the next generation for the sake of the country and its future.

“There’s already so much cynicism and skepticism among them. They’ve got to see the real thing, integrity in action,” he said. “They need to see people who are faithful to God, to spouses and families, to the country, and to the community. And faithful witness, actual fidelity, means being willing to sacrifice, give up some things like wealth, power, influence, status, and prestige, for the sake of the things that really matter: faith and family and friendship and honor and integrity.”

The College Fix indicated that among the events the Catholic conservative has planned for Fidelity Month is a webinar Thursday at 2 p.m. ET involving pro-life activist Lila Rose, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary professor Andrew Walker, and others.

Bud Light sponsoring LGBT pride events in the face of the damaging Dylan Mulvaney fiasco

Anheuser-Busch has been embroiled in controversy for enlisting transgender figure Dylan Mulvaney to promote Bud Light beer, but the beleagured brand is sponsoring LGBT Pride events.

The second annual Bud Light Pride River Parade and Celebration is slated to take place next month in San Antonio, Texas — as the name of the event indicates, Bud Light is a sponsor. A post about the event on the San Antonio River Walk website includes a list of sponsors, and Bud Light is on that list. The Bud Light logo on the event sponsors list links to the website for Silver Eagle Beverages, and that website states that Silver Eagle Beverages is “one of the largest members of the Anheuser-Busch wholesaler family.”

“The Bud Light Pride River Parade was created by Visit San Antonio to promote the city’s inclusion, encouragement and support of the LGBTQ+ community to live openly with equal rights,” visitsanantonio.com and the San Antonio River Walk website both state. “The Bud Light Pride River Parade will have two showings, each with more than 17 colorful river barges.”

The 2023 Chicago Pride Fest is being presented by Cutwater Spirits, a brand that is listed under the Anheuser-Busch family of brands on the Anheuser-Busch website.

Anheuser-Busch itself is listed as a sponsor of Pride St. Louis. A Pride St. Louis Instagram post includes a graphic that indicates Pridefest 2023 will be presented by Anheuser-Busch and other companies, but other Instagram posts list Bud Light rather than Anheuser-Busch.

While the Mulvaney fiasco has ignited severe blowback, the company’s promotion of the LGBT agenda is nothing new.

For example, a May 2022 press release on the Anheuser-Busch website declares that “Bud Light is excited to announce a new partnership with the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), the exclusive certifying body of LGBT-owned businesses.”

The release goes on to claim that the brand has been backing the “LGBTQ+ community” for more than two decades.

“As the country continues to reopen, Bud Light will support and use its reach to amplify LGBTQ+ businesses, showing the important role they play in local communities every day. For Bud Light, this partnership builds on over 20 years of support of the LGBTQ+ community through various organizations and activations,” the press release declares.

A May 2019 press release touted rainbow bottles of Bud Light.

“This June, Bud Light is partnering with GLAAD to launch its first-ever rainbow aluminum bottle to celebrate World Pride. The new limited-edition bottles will be available in bars nationwide throughout the month of June. For every case of rainbow bottles sold from May 27 to June 30, Bud Light will donate $1 to GLAAD, up to $150,000 to assist in their efforts of creating a world where everyone can live the life they love,” the release noted.

North Face Slammed over Ad Featuring Drag Queen Urging Viewers to ‘Come Out’ in Nature

Calls to boycott The North Face have followed the outdoor brand’s release of a transgender ad featuring a drag queen encouraging customers to “come out” with the brand.

In an Instagram post Wednesday, outdoor recreation products company The North Face presented its “Summer of Pride” campaign featuring drag queen and intersectional environmentalist Pattie Gonia, a self-described “real-life homosexual.”

In the ad, the “drag artist” is seen calling on viewers to “come out” in nature with the brand.

“Salt Lake City, we’re coming for you,” Gonia states, calling for viewers to “come outside and celebrate the beautiful LGHGTV community.”

In response, users took to social media to express outrage over the campaign, with many calling for a complete boycott of the Denver-based company.

“Please boycott Marxist North Face. This is unacceptable,” wrote internet personality Liz Churchill.

“I stopped buying North Face when they stopped selling in the stores on military bases because they did not want to be associated with US soldiers fighting and dying in two foreign wars. Now they are grooming kids,” wrote award-winning journalist Lara Logan.

“North Face said hold my beer to Bud Light and just released a woke transgender commercial targeting kids. You know what to do!” wrote  Matt Wallace.

“North Face goes WOKE!” wrote internet personality Oli London. “The outdoor clothing brand has released an advertisement for the brands new ‘Summer of Pride’ campaign which includes rainbow covered clothing for children.”

“Can anyone explain how the heck this ad helps @thenorthface sell outdoor clothes?” asked director and producer Robby Starbuck. 

“They’re screaming at you to not buy their products if this violates your values. Accept their challenge. The North Face is owned by the VF Corporation which also owns Supreme, Vans, and Timberland,” he added.

“The North Face has now gone full transgender with a drag queen commercial,” wrote conservative journalist Ian Miles Cheong. “Because nothing says ‘rugged outdoorsman’ like a man in a wig and a rainbow-colored dress.”

“No one noticed when The North Face was doing this last year, because the ad flew under the radar. But they’ve been at this for awhile and they’re only just now ramping things up,” he added in another tweet.

“BREAKING: @thenorthface has just released an ad featuring a drag queen marketed towards children. It looks like they’ve decided that they too would like the Bud Light and Target treatment. Ask and you shall receive!” tweeted Gays Against Groomers, an activist coalition opposed to the sexualization, indoctrination and medicalization of children, as it called to “boycott” the company.

“I am sorry to report The North Face has gone full drag-queen,” tweeted Not the Bee, an account from the creators of The Babylon Bee dedicated to exposing surprisingly real “absurd” news events.

“The North Face has decided to release an ad featuring a drag queen to market a Pride Month collection to children,” wrote entrepreneur Michael Seifert. “Because nothing says rugged outdoorsman like pushing gender confusion onto kids.”

“If we only want palliative care, we should continue the dosage of soothing slogans like ‘go woke, go broke,’” wrote former professional football player turned Senate candidate Jake Bequette. “If we’re interested in victory, it will take aggressive chemotherapy.”

“North Face Deploys Drag Queen Yelling ‘COME OUT’ to Sell LGBTQ+ Apparel to Little Children. (Yes this ad is real),” wrote another.

“Add ‘North Face’ to the list of #Boycott,” another user wrote.

“If you own any clothes made by North Face, go ahead and burn them,” yet another wrote.

The matter comes as several well-known corporations are under fire for pushing a woke agenda. 

On Monday, Dodgers President Stan Kasten proudly announced the team was reinviting the radical anti-Christian transgender group, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, to its Gay Pride night festivities so the team could bestow a “Community Heroes” award on them.

Last month, Bud Light beer selected Dylan Mulvaney, the former gay man who became a transgender social media celebrity, as its spokesperson.

The initiative saw a loss of billions of dollars in market value for Anheuser-Busch in the days following the promotional partnership, as its shares fell amid a nationwide backlash against Bud Light.

Meanwhile, Target stores were seen peddling the transgender agenda with sales of “tuck-friendly” bathing suits for males who wish to mimic females and “light binding” swim apparel for females.

In addition, the Walt Disney Co. invited drag queen Nina West to the world premiere of its live-action The Little Mermaid on Monday at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, as it, too,  continues to aggressively push LGBTQ ideology in its entertainment for children.

The move comes as drag culture continues to become a central component of Disney’s entertainment for children.

Gavin Newsom Accuses Target CEO of ‘Selling Out LGBTQ+ Community’ by Removing Pride Items from Satanist Designer

Far-Left California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) accused the CEO of Target of “selling out the LGBTQ+ community” for removing certain “pride” themed items associated with the satanist designer Abprallen after receiving backlash.

“CEO of Target Brian Cornell selling out the LGBTQ+ community to extremists is a real profile in courage. This isn’t just a couple stores in the South. There is a systematic attack on the gay community happening across the country,” Newsom claimed in a Tuesday social media post. 

“Wake up America. This doesn’t stop here. You’re black? You’re Asian? You’re Jewish? You’re a woman? You’re next,” he added. 

As Breitbart News reported, Target’s pride collection has been the subject of criticism following its rollout, “as it offers an array of items for children and babies as well as transgender swimsuits for adults with “tuck-friendly” and “light-binding” effects.”

But in the midst of the pride-themed onesies, socks, shoes, and swimsuits were at least two items by the U.K.-based designer Abprallen. The individual behind the brand identifies as a transgender gay man — a biological woman attracted to males — and satanist, even paying homage to the satanic figure Baphomet and asserting that “Satan respects pronouns.” While that design was not offered at Target stores, the woke company offered two designs from the designer — a top reading “Cure Transphobia Not Trans People” and a tote bag reading “Too Queer for Here.”

Now, when searching for the brand on the Target website, it states, “We couldn’t find a match for your search.”

“Since introducing this year’s collection, we’ve experienced threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and wellbeing while at work,” Target said in a statement, according to Reuters.

“Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior,” it continued.

Other items from the retail chain’s pride collection are also under review, including some children’s merchandise, “tuck-friendly” swimsuits marketed to men who identify as women, and “light-binding” tops to women who identify as men.

“This move comes on the heels of an ’emergency’ call taking place, resulting in certain Target stores moving the pride sections — typically displayed prominently at the front of the stores — to smaller sections in the back,” Breitbart News reported. 

Under Newsom’s leadership, California notably became the first “sanctuary state” this year for so-called “transgender children” seeking drugs and surgeries to alter their physical manifestations of secondary sex characteristics, which are restricted in some states.

California’s Department of Education also does not allow teachers to tell parents about a change in a student’s “gender identity” unless the student gives permission. Students who identify as transgender are allowed to participate in school activities, including sports, and use the bathrooms and locker rooms for the sex they believe they are.

Newsom also has a history of targeting churches and houses of worship. Last year, he infamously misused the words of Jesus Christ to justify aborting unborn babies.
