Great Reset: EU Vote to Implement Digital ID Latest Step in the ‘Chinaficaiton of Europe’ – MEP

A European Parliament vote for bloc-wide digital IDs is the latest step towards the “Chinafication of Europe”, an MEP has claimed.

Cristian Terhes, a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Christian Democratic National Peasants’ Party, has described the European Union’s latest push for cross-border digital IDs as another move towards the “Chinafication” of the bloc.

Although bureaucrats in Brussels have insisted that the measure is in the interests of average citizens, the parliament’s vote to see digital IDs adopted appears to be one of the latest attempts by EU institutions to pull power away from member-states’ national governments.

According to a report by Euractiv, the vote to see negotiations for a European Digital Identity Framework (eID) to go forward was approved by the bloc’s parliament on Thursday — though the publication describes the process as a mere formality.

Romana Jerkovic, the parliament’s rapporteur for the digital ID programme, heralded its approval of the plans, claiming that they will enable individual EU citizens to have “full control over their own data” while accessing facilities across the bloc.

Such a claim has been heavily disputed by Terhes, however, who instead sees the measure as a dangerous erosion of the rights of those living within the European Union.

“The loss of our freedoms and liberties to the Big State is normally done incrementally, but the passing of the eID Wallet is a big step towards the Chinafication of Europe,” the parliamentarian told Breitbart Europe, repeatedly warning that the measure could give authorities China-like oversight over people’s private lives.

“This Digital Wallet will allow the EU and national authorities (like the Chinese Communist Party) to have technical tools so they can know what the people are doing and to impose control,” Terhes said.

“Something similar to a Chinese style Social Credit System is now made available in the EU, because this eID Wallet is a necessary technology to its implementation,” he alleged.

The Romanian politician went on to compare the coming digital ID measure to the bloc’s system of bloc-wide COVID certificates, which were used to prevent people who had not been vaccinated, recovered from the coronavirus recently, or received a negative test for the disease from travelling to different countries.

“We have already a bad experience with the EU’s Digital Covid Certificate, which was advertised as ‘facilitating’ freedom of movement, but it was, in fact, used to restrict and control people’s movement if their status or behaviour did not please state authorities,” he explained.

At the height of the bloc’s lockdown hysteria such controls were not enough for many in Brussels, with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at one point pushing for the Union to adopt a bloc-wide forced vaccination mandate requiring people to get jabbed against the disease.

“How we can encourage and potentially think about mandatory vaccination within the European Union, this needs discussion,” the Commission President said in late 2021, adding that she wanted a “common approach” to the issue across the bloc.

The measure would have likely been similar to those enshrined in law by Austria, for example — although the German-speaking nation’s attempts to actually implement the policy eventually failed miserably.

Pence reacted to the rumor, based on what Trump described as “illegal leaks,” that the former president will be arrested as part of Democrat, Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case related to porn star Stormy Daniels.

“Like many Americans, I’m just, I’m taken aback. You have a major crime wave in New York, especially in New York City. You have literally a Democratic Party that’s literally dismantled the criminal justice system in that city, undercut the NYPD, and this is what the Manhattan DA says is their top priority,” Pence said, lambasting the district attorney’s office for focusing on non-issues as crime runs amok.

“It reeks of the kind of political prosecution that that we endured back in the days of the Russia hoax and the whole impeachment over a phone call. And one thing I know is —  I know that former President Trump can take care of himself,” Pence said, emphasizing that these witch hunts are “not what people are focused on.”

“I mean, the reality is the American people are hurting. Just this last week, we saw a couple of bank failures that are driven by liberal policies, on the West Coast and on the East Coast, you have inflation that’s at a 40-year high. Wages are stagnant. I mean, the American people are struggling, let alone and we’re facing new challenges around the world,” he said, emphasizing that he will continue to focus on the challenges the American people care about.

“I have the same reaction everybody else does to this to these reports,” he said of the news, emphasizing that he, like many Americans, is angered by the two-tier justice system as the Biden family continues to get away with shady deals and millions wired to various family members from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Pence said there seems to be “one standard for Republicans — particularly anybody ever associated with the Trump-Pence administration —  and others.”

“But the fact that the media has almost no interest whatsoever in the in the truth about Hunter Biden’s ties and the investments being made into the Biden family and the connections in China and elsewhere. The American people see through it and I think —  look, no one is above the law, but I am deeply concerned about the politicization that we’ve seen in the Justice Department. And frankly, the criminalization of politics in America, it’s doing absolutely nothing to help relieve the struggles that the American people are facing every single day,” Pence continued, highlighting the fact that Americans are concerned about real issues, including the crisis at the southern border and crime wave in major cities.

“Call them out on the politicization but also stay focused on the real issues facing the American people so … we can reelect the Republican Congress, win the Senate and win back the White House and win back America,” he added.

Hunter Biden Admits to Biden Family’s China Deals for $Millions After Years of Denial

Hunter Biden on Thursday admitted and then justified the Biden family’s multi-million dollar business with Chinese entities close to the Chinese Communist Party after years of denial.

A spokesperson said:

Hunter Biden, a private citizen with every right to pursue his own business endeavors, joined several business partners in seeking a joint venture with a privately-owned, legitimate energy company in China. As part of that joint venture, Hunter received his portion of good faith seed funds which he shared with his uncle, James Biden, and Hallie Biden, with whom he was involved with at the time, and sharing expenses.

Hunter’s spokesman continued, “Rep. Comer takes something old and tries to make it new by wrapping it in a wild and baseless right-wing conspiracy … The accounts so dramatically listed by Rep. Comer belonged to Hunter, his uncle and Hallie – nobody else.”

Hunter’s statement is a public relations attempt to push back on House Oversight Committee James Comer’s (R-KY) confirmation that the Biden family business received a $3 million wire transfer from a Chinese energy company and subsequent payments afterPresident Joe Biden left the vice presidency in 2017.

Comer has also found evidence that shows the Biden family business received $179,836.86 while Joe Biden was in the White House. Although the sum appears to be insignificant compared to the $31 million received by the business during Joe Biden’s time as vice president, the new amount builds upon the previous reporting in 2022 by Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer.

Hunter’s statement is notable because it represents the first time he has ever acknowledged his family made millions from Chinese business deals.

Schweizer, speaking with Fox News Thursday evening, mocked Hunter for changing his story after years of denial of his accurate reporting:

The story has changed throughout. When we first broke this story in 2018, they denied that they were even doing business in China. Then they said well, we were doing business in china but, as you pointed out, we didn’t make any money. Then it shifted to joe biden didn’t know about those deals.

Schweizer continued:

That’s been disproven. The fact that they keep shifting the stories, I think, should be a major concern for people in the White House, because it’s pretty clear that the people spinning the news in the White House don’t know the full story, and I think there are going to be several other shoes to drop on this.

On Thursday afternoon, the White House also tried to deflect from Comer’s revelations by claiming the family was a victim, despite the millions of dollars they made without showing any production of a product or service in return for the money.

“After a disgusting attack lamenting that the President’s deceased son Beau was never prosecuted while he was alive, Congressman Comer has now decided to go after Beau’s widow,” said White House spokesman Ian Sams.

The statements come after Comer on Wednesday revealed whistleblowers have informed him Joe Biden has indirectly benefited financially from the Biden family business, raising questions about if Joe Biden is written into the family’s business deals off the books.

“One of the things that all of our whistleblowers have told us,” Comer told Just the News, “is that they were all — through these LLCs — paying for things for Joe Biden. So that’s very curious, you know.”

Breitbart Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris’s investigative work at the New York Post on the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” also captured international headlines when she, along with Miranda Devine, revealed that Joe Biden was intimately involved in Hunter’s businesses, appearing to even have a ten percent stake in a company the scion formed with officials at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party.

‘It’s as bad as we thought’: House Oversight Committee zeroes in on China-linked money wires after subpoenaing 14 years of Biden bank records

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, indicated Monday that significant headway has been made in the investigation into the Biden family’s alleged international influence peddling.

In two separate interviews, Comer discussed both how former Hunter Biden business associates have begun to flip and how the committee has found patterns of suspicious cash flows to members of the Biden family from persons linked to the Chinese Communist Party.

Comer’s suggestions signal that Congress may be closer to establishing compromising ties between the Biden family and a genocidal regime growing increasingly hostile to the United States. Additionally, the continued cooperation of whistleblowers is expected to bring investigators closer to an understanding of precisely what then-Vice President Biden might have been providing to foreign nationals at America’s expense in exchange for the millions allegedly wired to his family members.

‘Very troubling information’

Comer appeared on Fox News’ “Hannity” Monday to provide an update on the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Biden family’s influence peddling.

“Two weeks ago … I subpoenaed a bank for records for three different former Hunter Biden business associates. One of those associates in particular was Rob Walker,” said Comer.

The New York Post reported that Comer issued a subpoena to Bank of America Feb. 27 demanding 14 years of bank records linked to persons reportedly involved in Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.

“We got his account. We confirmed that that account around two months after Joe Biden left the office of vice president received a $3 million wire from two individuals directly associated with the Chinese Communist Party.”

“The very next day after that wire was received, the Walker account started transferring money into three different Biden family members’ accounts, including a new Biden family member that’s never before been identified as someone being involved in the influence peddling scheme,” Comer continued.

“So, this is very serious information that we’ve received. Very troubling information. It does show a pattern that the Biden family was receiving money directly from China, and the question I have, Sean, is what were they doing in return for that money? This is just one account; there are many more accounts and many more associates.”

On Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo,” Comer said it looked as though the Bidens had attempted to hide the Chinese origins of some of the millions they received in the days following Joe Biden’s tenure in the White House.

These efforts at secrecy likely prompted “so many suspicious activity reports. … The banks would look at this, like, they must be laundering money or something,” said Comer.

“We have in hand documents that show just exactly how the Biden family was getting money from the Chinese Communist Party. And I will tell you, it’s as bad as we thought, Maria. It’s very concerning,” he added.

The congressman from Kentucky also told Fox News that whistleblowers have been approaching the committee and have already aided in identifying which accounts to investigate.

Kathy Chung, Joe Biden’s former executive assistant, is among those now voluntarily cooperating with the committee.

Extra to whistleblowers coming clean and paper trails revealing dirt, Comer noted in a statement Tuesday that the Treasury Department, which previously worked to stonewall investigators, is now willing to comply with requests for access to the suspicious activity reports it has on file flagging the Biden family’s finances.

“After two months of dragging their feet, the Treasury Department is finally providing us with access to the suspicious activity reports for the Biden family and their associates’ business transactions,” wrote Comer. “We are going to continue to use bank documents and suspicious activity reports to follow the money trail to determine the extent of the Biden family’s business schemes, if Joe Biden is compromised by these deals, and if there is a national security threat. If Treasury tries to stonewall our investigation again, we will continue to use tools at our disposal to compel compliance.”

The Post reported that while Hunter Biden is under investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware for possible tax fraud, illegal foreign lobbying, and other crimes, House investigators are attempting to ascertain President Biden’s role in his family’s questionable activities.

In January 2019, Hunter Biden wrote to Naomi Biden, “I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. … It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary.”

That Joe Biden allegedly took a piece of Hunter Biden’s earnings, including in his lucrative CEFC China Energy deal, may prove consequential for the president as the committee probes deeper into his family’s finances.

Comer noted in January, “The American people must know the extent of Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s shady business deals and if these deals threaten national security and his decision-making as president. This investigation is a top priority for House Republicans during the 118th Congress.”
