Democrats Are Begging Joe Biden to Dump Kamala Harris as His Running Mate. Should He Listen?

President Joe Biden’s chances of winning re-election are not a sure thing, and as time goes by, it becomes even more apparent that the American public has serious doubts about his ability to perform his duties. Polling has shown that people are concerned about the president’s age and cognitive acuity. Democrats are increasingly worried that this might be an issue for his campaign.

But at least some have floated an idea that they believe could help drag him over the finish line: Dump Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate.

A number of columnists have penned op-eds suggesting that the president choose someone else to partner with him in his quest for a second term.

Yes, voters think Biden may be too old to serve another four years, according to recent polls, but three columnists believe that a stronger running mate will gain traction in the country or even in the party.

David Ignatius wrote a piece arguing that the president “could encourage a more open vice-presidential selection process that could produce a stronger running mate.”

Eric Levitz recommended that Biden go with Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Sen. Raphael Warnock, or another Democratic lawmaker.

Central to the issue is Harris’ abysmal approval ratings.

As of Sept. 12, 39% of registered voters had a favorable opinion of Harris and 54% had an unfavorable opinion — a net rating of -15 percentage points, according to a Times average.

In June, Harris hit a record low for vice presidents, with a paltry 32 percent of respondents indicating they held a positive view of the VP.

To put it simply, Harris isn’t doing Biden any favors by being his second in command.

Of course, this puts the president in a rather tricky position – I’ll give you three guesses as to why.

Yep, you guessed it: If Biden ditches Harris, progressives will call him racist, sexist, and mean. Indeed, one of the biggest factors Democrats touted about his campaign in 2020 was that he chose a quasi-black woman to serve as his running mate. They had high hopes for Harris, which were quickly dashed when the nation realized she lacked competence and the ability to communicate effectively.

That being said, those suggesting that Biden part ways with Harris are right, of course. She is not doing anything to help his chances of winning re-election and could become even more of a liability in the future. In reality, he could just choose another black woman to replace her, which might go a long way toward assuaging the woke concerns of the hard left.

But the point might be moot, given the fact that Biden has already said he would continue with Harris as his running mate. If he sticks to his guns, then Democrats will have to find another way to counteract concerns about his age and evident cognitive problems. If this fails, then their best hope might be putting former President Donald Trump, who will likely be the Republican nominee, behind bars. Even then, victory is anything but a foregone conclusion for the current president.

New Allegation About Shady Meeting Joe Biden Had With Hunter Biz Associates – at VP Residence

Joe Biden has said for years that he did not talk with his son Hunter about “his” business. As we’ve shown with a boatload of evidence over the years, that was not true. Democrats and some in the media like to play this “there’s no evidence game.” Except, of course, for the emails, texts, phone calls, meetings, and witness statements that all relate to or involve Joe.

Democrats are having trouble dealing with the evidence that has already come out, as we noted. They sent out a “talking points” memo to the media on Wednesday, calling on them to “ramp up the scrutiny” against the Republicans over the impeachment inquiry and act like there isn’t any evidence.

But now there’s another shady allegation about Joe Biden that the Democrats are going to have to struggle to explain away.

House investigators are now looking into a meeting that Joe Biden had at the vice presidential residence on July 7, 2015, with Marc Holtzman, who was the chairman of Kazakhstan’s largest bank, Kazkommertsbank. Both Hunter Biden and Devon Archer were in attendance at the meeting.

Over orange juice, coffee, and pastries in a downstairs room of the historic Naval Observatory residence on that sunny Tuesday morning, conversation revolved around Holtzman lobbying VP Biden to back his close friend, then-Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov, to be Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The unspoken subtext of the conversation between the four men was that Hunter and Archer were working on a lucrative energy project in Kazakhstan on behalf of Burisma, the corrupt Ukrainian energy company that was paying them $1 million apiece.
With Massimov’s backing they would create a potentially lucrative new Kazakhstani subsidiary, Burisma Eurasia, and bring American drilling equipment overland through Russia to exploit the gas deposits.
Helping Holtzman get a favor for Massimov in return was the purpose of the breakfast, and Jill Biden stopped by their table at one point to say hello, says a source familiar with the discussion.

So why are Hunter and Archer there except to benefit Burisma by providing a “favor” from Joe for Holzman? It’s hard to argue any other rational interpretation of this meeting. And Archer made it clear.

Archer said that Burisma was trying to expand its businesses into the former Soviet republic, “so I leveraged the relationship [with Massimov] to introduce him to the company — the country and new equipment and technology and clean drilling.”

According to the source, Biden told Holtzman Massimov might have a tough time getting the job since Kazakhstan was seen as being aligned with Russia, but he said he would bring it up to Barack Obama. It’s not clear if he did. Massimov didn’t get the job. Instead, he’s serving time in his country for abuse of power. That’s the kind of guy that the Bidens were dealing with. Massimov was also part of the two dinners at the Cafe Milano which Joe attended.

Hunter’s laptop showed the meeting as well as another meeting later in the day with “dad, Steve Ricchetti, Mike Donilon, and former Sen. Ted Kaufman.” Those are some of Joe Biden’s top advisers. The laptop also showed a “Thank you” email from Holtzman.

“Dear Hunter, I can’t begin to thank you for yesterday,” Holtzman wrote on July 8. “Most of all and as I said to Devon, I look forward to deepening our friendship and to working more closely together. Sincerely, Marc.”

This is everything the Biden team has been denying, caught all in one meeting. Can we talk about influence peddling now? And more and more stuff like this is likely to come out since favors and deals were a big part of the operation.

Pelosi Kneecaps Kamala, Refuses to Say Harris Is the Right Person for the VP Job

Although the Democrats in this country seem hell-bent on destroying this country, ending the nuclear family, and chucking every basic traditional value out the window, there’s one thing we can usually agree is their strongpoint—their loyalty to each other. Their unity. While Republicans seem to splinter off into various clans and end up fighting each other as much as they battle the leftists, the Democrats manage to consistently put on a remarkably united front.

Which is why it’s extremely surprising to see former Speaker of the House and current Representative Nancy Pelosi sell her fellow California power player down the river. Asked twice pointedly Wednesday by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper whether she thought Vice President Kamala Harris was right for the job as President Biden’s #2, Pelosi gave the lukewarm (if not chilly) endorsement, “He [Biden] thinks so. And that’s what matters.”

Nice. Way to have her back, Nance.

You sure don’t need enemies if you have Nancy Pelosi in your corner.

As she sucked on her lips in that weird habit she has, the former speaker basically told Cooper that the office of the vice president is useless:

COOPER: Do you think she is the best running mate?
PELOSI: [Not answering the question:] She’s the vice president of the United States. Now people say to me, well, why isn’t she doing this or that. I said because she’s the vice president. That’s the job description.
[Grins like a Cheshire cat.] You don’t do that much. Mm-hmm, you know, you, you know?

What a ringing endorsement of her fellow breaker of the glass ceiling. Meanwhile, Pelosi the Principled recently announced her own campaign for her 20^th consecutive House term—she’s been in office since Ronald Reagan was president—and revealed that she doesn’t exactly have a grand vision for the country; she just wants to stop Trump and raise oodles of cash.

The odd thing about Pelosi’s statement is that vice presidents have in fact taken on a larger role in modern administrations. Bill Clinton’s VP Al Gore was tasked with cutting government waste, a job he did decently before he became a climate zealot, and Joe Biden himself was given numerous assignments by his boss, former President Barack Obama. Among other things, Biden played a big role in our policy toward Ukraine—a role which ironically has come back to haunt him as serious allegations of corruption continue to be leveled against the president and his son Hunter.

Harris has actually been handed numerous plum assignments—the only problem is that she’s just failed miserably at them all. In March 2021, Biden tapped her to be in charge of the border crisis, and as we all know, that disastrous human catastrophe continues unabated, and yet you almost never hear the VP mention it, much less do anything about it.

It’s not that the job is bad, it’s that she sucks at it.

I know that, and you know that, but I still can’t fathom why Pelosi would offer such a weak endorsement of her own fellow Democrat. What’s her game here? She had to know that it would make national news that she would be unwilling to say that Kamala is the best choice for Biden’s vice president. As the 16th-century political theorist Machiavelli theorized, people are “quick to change their nature when they imagine they can improve their lot.” With that devious little heavily lipsticked smile, Pelosi undercut the VP in true Machiavellian style—but the question remains, why?

My best explanation is that she’s hoping she can get Harris pushed to the side, and it can become the Joe and Nancy “Polident Ticket”:
