Grab the Popcorn: Jeff Bezos Just Called out Joe Biden on Twitter

May 14, 2022 by Nick Arama Leave a Comment

Now, it’s not uncommon to see Joe Biden lying. He lies like he breathes. And he’s constantly lying about inflation and placing the blame on everything but his horrible policies. He’s even blamed Americans for not “being focused,” so they don’t understand the issue. What gall. So, Joe lying while demonstrating his economic ignorance was not unusual.

You want to bring down inflation?

Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.

— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) May 13, 2022

“You want to bring down inflation?” Biden said. “Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”

That would do absolutely nothing to help inflation which was kicked off, at least in part, by Biden’s excessive spending on things like the American Rescue Plan. Indeed, it would make things worse because corporations would then pass those increased costs onto the consumers in higher prices. Joe has no idea what he’s doing and/or he doesn’t want to stop the spending. So, that’s a sad and bad thing to have such a person in office.

But, what was unusual was the response of Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.

The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead. Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection. https://t.co/ye4XiNNc2v

— Jeff Bezos (@JeffBezos) May 14, 2022

“The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet,” Bezos sniped. “Or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead. Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.”

Oh, my —- Jeff Bezos just called out Joe Biden on Twitter for lying about inflation and taxes. I hate to have to agree with that, but it’s exactly right, including giving Biden a shot about the Disinformation Governance Board, which is something no allegedly free society should be putting out there.

So, what’s going on here? Why is Bezos — one of the chief supporters of the mess that the Democrat Party has become — blasting Biden here very publicly? Even taking a whack at the dangerous Disinformation Governance Board? Is it finally “Throw Old Joe Under the Bus Time” at last? Has Elon Musk woken up any of these characters?

I don’t hold out hope that Bezos has woken up. He may be realizing there’s a big change coming after November, and he backed the wrong horse in Biden. He may be trying to appear more of a centrist. A little late now, after all the mess that this has brought upon us. So, no one is going to buy this. You have a newspaper, you could be reporting the truth but you’ve been missing in action.

But when even Jeff Bezos — owner of The Washington Post — can’t stomach what Joe Biden is trying to dish out and puts some truth out there, dissing old Joe for all to see, you know it’s trouble time for Joe Biden and the Democrats. They’re in a throwdown battle to have any hope at all in the midterms, so it’s something you don’t expect to see, even if it is the truth. You would think they would all be crashing the boards to help the Democrats win in November. The fact that he is willing to say it shows how bad what Joe Biden is doing now is. And if even Bezos gets it, you know that a lot of Americans who aren’t so compromised are getting it too. Bring on the red wave.

When you lose Jeff Bezos – 😂 https://t.co/Sxd6OvJj03

Gun taxes raise $15 billion for conservation efforts

May 12, 2022 by Tom Knighton Leave a Comment

I hate taxes.

I recognize why we have them and see the need, but I also tend to lean far more into the “taxation is theft” category.

One of the less onerous flavors of taxation, though, is why you tax a given good so as to fund the kinds of things associated with that good.

A prime example is taxes on guns and ammunition going to help conservation efforts and wildlife management. While it’s still taxation, it goes to benefit the hunters who, for a while, were the primary people buying guns and ammunition.

In fact, those taxes raised $15 billion for conservation last year, according to a report over at Reloaded.

Taxes on firearms and ammunition sales have raised $15 billion for a special trust fund that conserves and restores natural habitats for the nation’s wide array of wildlife.

That is according to a Thursday press release from the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association that represents the nation’s firearms industry. The number represents a new milestone for the Wildlife Restoration Trust Fund, which gets its funding primarily from gun excise taxes.

“This is an achievement for which all in the firearm and ammunition industry are proud,” Joe Bartozzi, NSSF President, said in the statement. “This historic milestone is indicative of the value this industry places on the conservation of wildlife and the habitats in which they thrive.”

Thanks to the fund, populations of several different game species have been recovered and restored. The rocky mountain elk, whitetail deer, pronghorn antelope, and wild turkey are among those helped by the fund. Non-game species, including the American Bald Eagle, have also benefited from the revenue. The firearm industry contributions to the Wildlife Restoration Trust Fund surpassed the mark of $14 billion at the start of 2021. That means taxes on rising gun sales generated approximately $1 billion for the effort over the past year.

In a weird bit of irony, though, many of those who want to restrict gun purchases also favor conservation efforts.

They may be anti-hunting, too, but they do want all these populations to proliferate. However, the funding for that tends to come from these kinds of taxes.

And few gun buyers–even those with no interest in hunting–really gripe about these taxes. We’re generally OK with paying a bit more when the funds go toward things like this. Those who don’t hunt recognize that they might want or need to do so in the future and those who do are benefitting from it right now.

What’s more, these are almost voluntary taxes in many places. After all, if you can buy a used gun from an individual, you don’t have to pay these, yet many of us buy new anyway. Maybe not so we can pay the taxes, but it’s not enough to dissuade us from buying new, either.

But gun restrictions or bans actually reduce these funds.

If someone wants an AR-15 but can’t lawfully buy one, they’re not going to decide to buy a bolt-action 30-06 instead. They’re just not going to buy a gun. That’s revenue essentially being lost for conservation efforts.

Not that any of the usual suspects will see it that way. I suppose they can tax something else and make up the money, but that’s not always as easy as they might like to believe.

Biden Insults Americans on Inflation and Shows How Far Gone He Truly Is

May 11, 2022 by Nick Arama Leave a Comment

Joe Biden has a lot of issues — from incoherence to not being very bright. I don’t say that last part as a shot but just as an unfortunate statement of fact.

But one of his worst problems is his refusal to ever admit he’s wrong. We saw that reach almost sociopathic levels with Afghanistan. We see it again now with inflation and the economy. None of it is his fault, Joe says. But if he can’t admit where he went wrong, then he can’t fix it and he’ll just keep doing it.

His economy is just terrific, Joe says. What’s the problem then? It’s you. You dumb Americans. You just don’t understand his greatness.

Reporter: “Why do you believe so many Americans believe your administration is not doing enough to combat inflation?”

Biden: “They’re not focused…I think what I have to do is explain in simple, straightforward language what’s going on.” pic.twitter.com/9S9uw7uwAh

— Washington Free Beacon (@FreeBeacon) May 10, 2022

Joe has to help us with our infirmities. “They’re not focused…I think what I have to do is explain in simple, straightforward language what’s going on.”

Of course, we are indeed focused on inflation —- we can’t help but be since it’s our money flying out of our pockets. It’s Joe who isn’t focused on it because his brain is made of mush and he’s focused on giving our money away elsewhere.

But this is the insulting view he has and puts out there about Americans to excuse his own failures.

Biden has been trying to demonize the “ultra MAGA” agenda. But Democrats control the legislative and executive branches of government, so it’s no one’s fault but their own. Although Biden even messed up on that, claiming that they control all the branches.

BIDEN: “We’re in power…We control all three branches of government. Well, we don’t really.” pic.twitter.com/qjwJLjMwNR

— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) May 10, 2022

No, Joe, you don’t control the judicial branch, even though you have been trying to intimidate it by encouraging protests against it.

As part of his effort to deflect blame from his failures, Biden has been attacking the tax plan of Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL). However, that isn’t the Republican plan and it isn’t going anywhere. Yet Biden keeps claiming it is what Republicans in Congress want when he knows that’s a lie. Reporters asked him what he thought about Scott calling on him to resign because he wasn’t competent.

Q: Rick Scott said “the most effective thing Joe Biden can do to solve the inflation crisis he created is resign.”

BIDEN: “Resign? That’s a good idea.”

“…Biden is unwell, he’s unfit for office, he’s incoherent, incapacitated, and confused.”

BIDEN: “The man has a problem.” pic.twitter.com/frbFdJqIiy

— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) May 10, 2022

Biden’s response was that Scott had a “problem.” Scott obliterated him in reply.

.@JoeBiden is right. I do have a problem.

I have a problem with a weak, incoherent & confused president crushing the dreams of American families with raging inflation & doing NOTHING to fix it. Biden is a failed president & it’s time for him to resign. pic.twitter.com/mAHkndxaWt

— Rick Scott (@SenRickScott) May 10, 2022

Then came the kicker — Biden couldn’t even get Scott’s state right.

While claiming that Republicans want to raise taxes, Joe Biden says that Senator Rick Scott is from Wisconsin.

He is from Florida. pic.twitter.com/KtKrXP71co

— Greg Price (@greg_price11) May 10, 2022

Scott leveled Biden.

The president just said I’m from Wisconsin…@JoeBiden is so incapacitated and incoherent, he can’t even keep his states straight.

— Rick Scott (@SenRickScott) May 10, 2022

If Biden can’t even get basic things like that right, he’s far gone and unfortunately, he only seems to be getting worse.

NY Post Identifies Person Who Allegedly Helped Pay off Hunter Biden's Taxes

May 9, 2022 by Nick Arama Leave a Comment

There’s been a question that’s been hanging out there for some months. There were rumors that someone had helped to pay off Hunter Biden’s taxes.

Now, the NY Post is reporting that the person who reportedly did it was a big-time Hollywood lawyer who paid more than $2 million for Hunter’s taxes as the investigation into Biden’s taxes and foreign financial connections continues.

Kevin Morris represented the creators of South Park and also was one of the producers for “The Book of Mormon.” He’s also been a longtime Democratic donor.

According to the Post:

Morris, whom Hunter Biden’s friends call his latest “sugar brother,” has also been funding the 52-year-old’s lifestyle in Los Angeles — including his rent and living expenses, the source said.

The attorney has also been advising the president’s son on how to structure his art sales, according to the source.

When The Post attempted to contact Morris at his Malibu residence to ask about his dealings with Hunter Biden, his wife slammed the door in the reporter’s face and refused to answer questions.

According to CBS, Morris is working on a documentary on Hunter Biden and Hunter has engaged him as an “attorney and trusted adviser” to investigate how his laptop became public and events that have happened since the laptop became public.

So I have a thought — maybe don’t put crazy things on your laptop and then forget to pick it back up after you leave it to be repaired? Then maybe it doesn’t become public? I know that’s a simple thought and I didn’t do any further examination or make a documentary to come to that conclusion. The repair guy, John Paul Mac Isaac, just wrote about the night Hunter brought in the laptop and how he came to discover what was on it.

But I find it amusing that they’re going to try to remake him into the victim here — the poor guy who just had all this stuff on his laptop they don’t want to talk about. That’s going to be fun as they try to dance around this. And the funny thing behind that will be that no matter what they say, they’re finally admitting it’s real by this response. Moreover, whatever they say, it’s only going to highlight the horrible content even more and invite more focus on the laptop.

Joe Biden to Skate on Possible Tax Evasion After His Extreme Hypocrisy Is Revealed

May 7, 2022 by Bonchie Leave a Comment

In news that will surprise absolutely no one, it is being reported that Joe Biden is not going to be held accountable for possibly evading taxes. That comes after the IRS rejected a whistleblower complaint alleging the president owes at least $127,000 in back taxes, with others suggesting it’s as much as $500,000.

The news comes per The New York Post, which saw a copy of the denial letter.

President Biden is likely to avoid an audit that could reveal whether he made money from his son Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings — because the Internal Revenue Service has rejected a whistleblower complaint that alleged he owes at least $127,000 in taxes, The Post has learned…

…Tax law expert Bob Willens, who teaches at Columbia University’s business school, said the rejection means Biden is likely to run out a three-year statute of limitations, meaning Republican claims that Biden owes up to $500,000 in taxes are unlikely to be resolved.

“It looks like the question of whether the president underpaid his Medicare taxes will never be aired,” Willens told The Post.

The dispute concerns more than $13 million that Joe and Jill Biden routed through S corporations in 2017 and 2018 to avoid paying a 3.8 percent Medicare tax on most of the haul by declaring a small part of it as “salary.” Many wealthy people use S corporations to lower their tax bills and the IRS pursues relatively few cases of lowballing the amount of income that counts as taxable.

The issues over Biden’s taxes are actually long-standing, with RedState reporting on the issue last year. The details concern the over $13 million that Joe Biden and his wife made following the end of the Obama administration. Those are the same years that Biden ended up with $5.2 million in “unexplained income,” with other evidence pointing to his corrupt, possibly criminal son, Hunter Biden, dumping money in the family coffers during that time period.

The Bidens took all that money they “made” and routed it through S corps in order to skip out on paying some Medicare taxes. The “unexplained income” that measured into the millions was claimed on their taxes but not on their financial disclosures. That’s why we don’t know the origins of it. The dots are connecting, though, given what we’ve learned about the mixing of finances between the elder Bidens and their degenerate son.

But while the IRS will target conservative non-profits and audit Donald Trump every year, they apparently just don’t have the will to look into Biden’s screwed-up finances. I’m sure that’s just a coincidence and not at all a politicized decision, right?

Regardless, even if we assume that the tax schemes the Bidens perpetrated were legal, there’s no doubt they are massive hypocrites. Biden has consistently proclaimed that the rich must “pay their fair share,” targeting highly successful figures like Elon Musk. In fact, he used that line in his recent State of the Union address.

Apparently, paying one’s “fair share” doesn’t apply to Democrat presidents, though. I mean, if you are going to skip out on taxes via loopholes, at least go big. In this case, the Bidens were so concerned with even having a pay a small amount (relatively speaking) of Medicare taxes that they rerouted millions of dollars to avoid them. Talk about being cheap.

It’s also worth noting that the Bidens give almost nothing to charity. They want to take your money but then go out of their way to skip out on taxes and giving that pay for the very things they promote. These people are hypocrites of the highest order.
