DEA alert about dangerous fentanyl and xylazine cocktails warns of potential for ‘rotting of human tissue — that may lead to amputation’

March 20, 2023 by Alex Nitzberg Leave a Comment

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has issued a public safety alert warning about an uptick in the trafficking of dangerous drug concoctions containing fentanyl and xylazine.

“Xylazine is making the deadliest drug threat our country has ever faced, fentanyl, even deadlier,” DEA Administrator Anne Milgram said, according to the alert. “DEA has seized xylazine and fentanyl mixtures in 48 of 50 States. The DEA Laboratory System is reporting that in 2022 approximately 23% of fentanyl powder and 7% of fentanyl pills seized by the DEA contained xylazine.”

“Xylazine and fentanyl drug mixtures place users at a higher risk of suffering a fatal drug poisoning,” the DEA alert noted. “People who inject drug mixtures containing xylazine also can develop severe wounds, including necrosis—the rotting of human tissue—that may lead to amputation.”

The FDA indicates that while xylazine is approved to be used in animals, it is not safe for humans. According to the FDA, “Repeated exposure to xylazine, by injection, has been associated with severe, necrotic skin ulcerations that are distinctly different from other soft-tissue infections (e.g., cellulitis, abscesses) often associated with injection drug use. These ulcerations may develop in areas of the body away from the site of injection.”

“The Sinaloa Cartel and Jalisco Cartel in Mexico, using chemicals largely sourced from China, are primarily responsible for the vast majority of the fentanyl that is being trafficked in communities across the United States,” the DEA noted.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has been reporting massive numbers of southwest land border encounters month after month — there have been more than 1 million during the five-month period spanning from October through February.

Shocking video shows couple brutally beating and stabbing a neighbor over a parking spot dispute in NYC

March 20, 2023 by Carlos Garcia Leave a Comment

A couple was caught on surveillance video brutally beating their neighbor with a bat over a parking spot dispute in New York City, New York.

Police responded to a call of an assault in the Sunnyside neighborhood at about 4 p.m. on Friday. When they arrived, they found 28-year-old Wilson Chabla Lliguicota in a pool of his own blood.

Surveillance video caught some of the altercation between Lliguicota and 30-year-old Arturo Cuevas and his 27-year-old live-in girlfriend Daisy Barrera. The video was obtained by the New York Post.

Police said that Cuevas stabbed Lliguicota several times, and Barrera then bludgeoned him in the head with a bat several times. Cuevas stomped on the victim and Barrera also allegedly struck a female bystander who tried to intervene in the altercation.

Lliguicota was transported to the Elmhurst Hospital Center and listed in stable but critical condition. The criminal complaint said that he suffered severe brain injuries and required emergency neurosurgery.

Police said that Cuevas allegedly told them, “It was me, I told you it was me already. I already told you that I’m the one who did it,” during their interrogation.

He also told them where the weapons were stashed, according to cops.

“I took the bat and knife and brought them to my apartment and they are in my room,” he reportedly said.

Both Cuevas and Barrera were charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and second-degree assault. Cuevas had been previously charged with assault while Barrera had no previous criminal record.

“This shocking display of brutality will be met with justice,” read a statement from Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz.

“We have charged attempted murder and given the viciousness of the attack, asked the court to keep the defendants in custody prior to trial,” she added. “The request for remand was granted. Our thoughts are with the victims.”

Here’s more about the brutal assault:

Biden signs ‘COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023’

March 20, 2023 by Alex Nitzberg Leave a Comment

President Joe Biden has signed legislation that calls for declassifying any information pertaining to potential connections between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Today, I am pleased to sign into law S. 619, the ‘COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023.’ I share the Congress’s goal of releasing as much information as possible about the origin of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19),” Biden said in a statement on Monday. “In 2021, I directed the Intelligence Community to use every tool at its disposal to investigate the origin of COVID-19, and that work is ongoing. We need to get to the bottom of COVID-19’s origins to help ensure we can better prevent future pandemics.

“My Administration will continue to review all classified information relating to COVID–19’s origins, including potential links to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. In implementing this legislation, my Administration will declassify and share as much of that information as possible, consistent with my constitutional authority to protect against the disclosure of information that would harm national security,” Biden said.

The House passed the legislation earlier this month in a 419-0 vote.

The measure calls for the Director of National Intelligence to declassify any material pertaining to potential ties between the Chinese lab and the genesis of the pandemic, and provide Congress with an unclassified report containing that information, though the measure allows for redactions the director deems necessary to shield sources and methods.

This is supposed to include any information related to “activities performed by the Wuhan Institute of Virology with or on behalf of the People’s Liberation Army,” “coronavirus research or other related activities performed at the Wuhan Institute of Virology prior to the outbreak of COVID–19,” and information regarding “researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology who fell ill in autumn 2019.”

It has been around three years since panic over COVID-19 erupted around the globe, leading to draconian measures like lockdowns, mask mandates, and later when vaccines became available, vaccination mandates.

Black trans reporter accuses journalism industry of transphobia and sexism: ‘Y’all don’t do this to white trans journalists’

March 20, 2023 by Carlos Garcia Leave a Comment

A reporter who identifies as black, transgender, and gender-fluid accused the journalist industry of transphobia in a thread on social media that went viral.

Tat Bellamy-Walker works for the Seattle Times but complained Sunday on Twitter about transphobic experiences.

“As a Black trans man and gender-fluid reporter, I feel like the journalism industry does not hear me when I say I am still read as a Black woman and that I experience transphobia. Instead, people ignore my gender identity and act as if I am making it up,” Bellamy-Walker tweeted.

“No one hears me when I say I experience sexism, misogynoir and transmisogyny. No one hears me when I say I don’t want to use a men’s bathroom and that I have been historically pushed out of these spaces,” the reporter said in a second tweet.

“The way I am expected to carry Black cis manhood as a trans man/gender fluid person who has spoken openly about his identity is crazy. Y’all don’t do this to white trans journalists,” Bellamy-Walker continued in a now-deleted tweet.

The thread garnered more than 100k views and more than 400 retweets. Many of Bellamy-Walker’s followers apologized for the alleged transphobia that Bellamy-Walker claimed to have experienced as a black, transgender, gender-fluid journalist.

In an interview on the TransLash show from 2020, Bellamy-Walker spoke about the obstacles preventing Bellamy-Walker from obtaining “gender-affirming” surgery.

“When I was told that you know, your BMI [Body Mass Index] was like a couple of percentages off and you can’t be scheduled to see the doctor just for a consultation, you know, I’m like, it feels like every step of the way I encounter some sort of barrier,” Bellamy-Walker said.

Here’s more about the transgender agenda:

Geraldo Rivera ridiculed for suggesting this man ‘could be the strongest GOP alternative for POTUS’

March 20, 2023 by Alex Nitzberg Leave a Comment

Fox News Channel personality Geraldo Rivera suggested that former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie “could be the strongest GOP alternative for” president.

“Chris Christie could be the strongest GOP alternative for POTUS; savvy, swagger, moderation, toughness,” Rivera tweeted.

Rivera was ridiculed on social media.

“I have to tell you, I find Geraldo impressive in his ability to have created a fairly lucrative career by being wrong so many times. . .” American Majority founder and CEO Ned Ryun tweeted.

“Time to switch to a non-hallucinogenic mustache wax, dude,” someone else tweeted.

“Geraldo says the stupidest things ever spewed by mankind but this has to be top 5 stupidest tweets,” someone else wrote.

Christie, who served as governor of the Garden State from early 2010 through early 2018, mounted a presidential bid in 2015 but ultimately dropped out in 2016.

“Next 45 to 60 days,” Christie said of when he will decide whether to throw his hat into the ring for the 2024 contest, the Washington Examiner reported last week. “I think running for president of the United States is an intensely personal decision. And that’s one that anybody who’s considering it should have the right to make on their own regardless of anybody else’s thoughts on it.”

Former President Donald Trump has already announced another White House bid, as have former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley and author and Strive co-founder Vivek Ramaswamy.

“With Donald Trump at the top of the ticket, you can be sure of the fact that we’ll have another four years of Joe Biden, and that to me is not acceptable for this country,” Christie said, according to the Examiner.

Last year, Rivera described then-GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming as “a once-in-a-generation stand up hero.”

In 2021, Rivera opined that Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York “outshines every other member of Congress in eloquence and passionate sincerity.”
