Even CNN Admits Things Not Looking Good for Biden, Then Comer Drops More Damning Info

March 19, 2023 by Nick Arama Leave a Comment

As we reported, the House Oversight Committee says it now has evidence showing that the Biden family received more than a million dollars in relation to a payout from a Chinese company with ties to the CCP.

Among the accounts that received the money were companies related to Jim Biden (Joe’s brother) and Hunter Biden (Joe’s son), as well as an account for Hallie Biden (Beau Biden’s widow and Hunter Biden’s former girlfriend). There was also another account, just marked “Biden” which may pertain to yet a fourth Biden.

Even CNN was forced to cover it and admit that it didn’t look good for Joe Biden. You know that’s bad for Joe Biden when they have to admit the truth.

A Biden associate “gets $3 million from a Chinese-based company and proceeds to wire it out to a bunch of people named Biden,” says CNN’s Erin Burnett.

“That doesn’t look good.” pic.twitter.com/JbBbP91Z2i

— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) March 18, 2023

Yes, to most Americans it doesn’t look good either and it shouldn’t when you’re getting money from CCP-related folks for unclear reasons and this is just after Joe Biden left being vice president. Was it a payoff for services rendered? Or a payoff for services to come? Those are the natural questions that people would ask and it raises a huge flag about Biden being compromised through his family and/or through his own involvement.

As we noted, Joe Biden has claimed to know nothing about his son’s business. That of course is a lie, as we’ve shown. But he also claimed during a debate in 2020 that his son didn’t get money from China.

Joe Biden falsely claims Hunter Biden has not made money from Chinahttps://t.co/pKlL3UvNqS pic.twitter.com/br4xiizRZy

— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) October 23, 2020

This evidence blows that up too, because not only was Hunter’s companies getting money, but other Biden family members were as well.

Biden also claimed on Friday that it wasn’t true that his family had gotten such a payout, despite the evidence to the contrary. Perhaps he’d like to explain the evidence then and who the “unnamed” Biden account is.

But it gets worse for Biden.

As Rep. James Comer explained to Fox’s Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, this was “just the beginning” as they’ve just started going through all the records they’ve now received. He also outlined another concerning message in relation to the CCP-related Biden payout.

Comer explained how Joe Biden made trips to China, took his son and some of his associates with him and Biden met with some of the people he claims that he never met with. So Comer said we know Biden hasn’t been truthful about what went on when he was vice president.

When speaking about business dealings with the Biden family, Rob Walker once said that exposing him would ‘bury all of us, man.’

Why? @GOPoversight has many questions for Rob Walker and we look forward to getting answers for the American people. @MariaBartiromo @FoxNews pic.twitter.com/ZgNNywDhEG

— Rep. James Comer (@RepJamesComer) March 19, 2023

But from talking to former associates that were involved with Hunter Biden, Comer said they knew the “Biden family had agreed to help China do was get their foot in the door” in terms of the American energy industry and even to help in buying American farmland. We’re seeing all this, as we now are concerned about the growing Chinese interests in the American economy.

Yes there was a message that Hunter was very frustrated with one of these business partners in China, that he had done every blanking thing they had ever asked of him. And, of course, this would have been when Joe Biden was vice president, and he reminded them that they had never done anything in return for him, and then a few weeks later, this $3 million wire appears in the Robinson Walker account, and the very next day they distributed money to Hunter Biden and then at least two other family members and possibly three family members. So there’s evidence in the laptop that shows that Hunter Biden was communicating with them and had interactions and done things for them while his father was vice president.

That’s “very concerning,” Comer said, that Joe Biden might have done things for the Chinese while he was vice president.

I don’t think the White House ever dreamed we would get bank records. I’ve got bad news for the White House: This is just the beginning. We’re going to get a lot more bank records and they’re going to have to continue to backpedal and come up with some type of reason why the Biden family’s received millions and millions of dollars from our adversaries.

Bartiromo agreed and noted all kinds of Chinese concerns from the spy balloon to Chinese nationals flooding the border, and then Biden didn’t immediately respond to the spy balloon and hasn’t held them accountable for COVID. “How much do they have on Joe Biden?” Bartiromo asked.

There are a lot of big questions here and this is just what we have at this point. Prepare for still more as Comer works his way through the other deals and more evidence.

Even CNN Isn’t Safe on the Streets of San Francisco

March 17, 2023 by Nick Arama Leave a Comment

I must confess, I like San Francisco, which once was a beautiful city with all kinds of interesting history. But with Democratic leadership for decades, it’s disintegrated into a place where it’s no longer safe to be on the streets—and crime is through the roof.

It’s not even safe for a CNN team with security, as they found out on Friday. CNN correspondent Kyung Lah posted about how she, her producer Jason Kravarik, and their team were there for an interview at City Hall. They left security to watch their car and the crew car.

Got robbed. Again. @jasonkCNN & I were at city hall in San Francisco to do an interview for @CNN. We had security to watch our rental car + crew car. Thieves did this in under 4 seconds. Security stopped the jerks from stealing other bags. But seriously- this is ridiculous pic.twitter.com/3zcCzckavW

— Kyung Lah (@KyungLahCNN) March 17, 2023

I don’t know what happened to the security for “four seconds.” But Lah said in that short time, thieves broke into the car and swiped bags out of it, although the security was able to stop them from taking even more.

The security did manage to get a picture of the getaway car — an Infiniti — and the license plate.

Our hired security guard tried to grab the crooks (I’m glad he didn’t get hurt!) but he got this picture of the getaway car.
To the jerks who stole our stuff— I hope someone on this site sees your plate and you get caught pic.twitter.com/k7VL0J9JHJ

— Kyung Lah (@KyungLahCNN) March 17, 2023

But they probably stole the car, too.

Lah said people should know that it isn’t safe.

San Francisco is a beautiful city. This is our 3rd day here and I’ve loved my time here. But if you do visit this city, know that even with hired security watching your car, it is not enough. pic.twitter.com/Hi7UPSG5g5

— Kyung Lah (@KyungLahCNN) March 17, 2023

Lah said her passport and ID were in one of the bags taken, so she was going to have to try to figure out how to fly back to Los Angeles on Southwest Air without ID.

What she found out when she spoke with Southwest was that they were used to this situation because it was happening to so many people there.

Bc so many people get their cars broken into and their bags stolen, @SouthwestAir was very used to my lack-of-ID problem and smoothly gave me my ticket after a brief security check. Off to TSA now. pic.twitter.com/fDnfF1loRF

— Kyung Lah (@KyungLahCNN) March 17, 2023

Lah noted this was also happening to people who fly out of Oakland, where cars are being hit by thieves.

.@TSA officer Boongaling at Oakland is really helping me out today. Thank you to her!
Also, if you fly out of Oakland, know the gas stations are being hit around the airport. Teams here in Oakland say passengers show up crying bc their bags are all stolen, all in seconds pic.twitter.com/BQIwqtW53y

— Kyung Lah (@KyungLahCNN) March 17, 2023

Lah subsequently reported her bag was found, so she was able to get her ID and business cards back.

OMG!!! My bag was recovered! (@jasonkCNN’s still missing). Perla w/@OCEIA_SF found my bag/biz cards & just rang me.
Happy to report SF residents are fighting for their city, like @OCEIA_SF. They’re a community safety patrol program, speaking 17 languages, run by residents

— Kyung Lah (@KyungLahCNN) March 17, 2023

She reported that a “community safety patrol” run by residents found it.

The irony of the story? They were in San Francisco to cover citizen anger over rampant street crime.

BTW; @jasonkCNN and I are in San Francisco doing a story about voter discontent bc of rampant street crime #irony

— Kyung Lah (@KyungLahCNN) March 17, 2023

I’m glad they’re safe, and they were able to recover some of their stuff.

But will they take away the right moral of the story, now that they’ve been hit by crime themselves? Probably not. It’s CNN. But why do they think that crime has gotten so rampant in San Francisco? It’s because of radical DAs who have not held criminals to account. The people recalled the old radical DA Chesa Boudin. Imagine how bad it has to be when the very liberal folks do that. But they still have a long way to go, and businesses have been fleeing because they just can’t take the losses anymore. Meanwhile, the city seems focused on paying out many for “reparations.”

How about just focusing on keeping citizens safe? That’s the main job that they’re supposed to be doing here, and they’re failing at it miserably.

We Really Need to Talk About Glenn Youngkin’s CNN Town Hall

March 11, 2023 by Bonchie Leave a Comment

I regret to inform you that Glenn Youngkin has finally made a mistake. The Republican golden boy has been riding high since his surprise elevation to the governorship in Virginia some years ago, and to that effect, he’s enjoyed broad approval across the different factions of the GOP. But there will always be bumps in the road, and Youngkin’s recent CNN-hosted town hall with Jake Tapper was a big one.

Before we get to Youngkin’s answers, many of which left much to be desired, I think it’s important to deal with the elephant in the room first.

Why in the world is a budding Republican star providing free content to CNN? Was Youngkin not sentient when Tapper ambushed Marco Rubio and Dana Loesch over the Parkland shooting, resulting in one of the most grotesque scenes to ever happen in modern politics? I believe he was, which makes his decision to repeat the same mistake all the more baffling.

Nothing that happened during his appearance was surprising. Tapper played his role as a “really serious journalist” who tees up ridiculously biased questions from planted audience members. In response, Youngkin didn’t seem very prepared, which brings me to the biggest viral moment of the night.

CNN had a 17-year-old trans dude ask Glenn Youngkin about school bathrooms and the kid’s Dad shook his head when Yougnkin said boys shouldn’t play girl’s sports. pic.twitter.com/iAcWCJzdP9

— Greg Price (@greg_price11) March 10, 2023

In case you are understandably confused, CNN went out and found a 17-year-old girl who says she’s a boy to berate Youngkin. According to her, using a bathroom that matches her biological sex would make girls uncomfortable, therefore she should be able to use the boy’s restroom. You know, because a bowl-cut and some hormone treatments are all it takes to change genders these days. Still, this was an opportunity for the governor to lay his cards on the table and speak some hard but necessary truths.

He could have said, “look, I sympathize with your plight, but you are a girl, and you do not have a right to enter a bathroom meant for the opposite sex.” He didn’t do that. Instead, Youngkin said that the solution is gender-neutral bathrooms.

Why is that a problem? Because it concedes the entire argument over transgender ideology to the left. It is an acceptance that the right way to treat gender dysmorphia, specifically in children, is to create accommodations that affirm their mental illness. That’s exactly what many of us in the conservative movement have been fighting against, and Youngkin just gives up that ground in an instant. It’s inexplicable, especially given he’s been billed as a truth-teller on contentious cultural topics.

Unfortunately, that version of Youngkin was nowhere to be found in this town hall. Instead, you’d have been forgiven for thinking Mitt Romney was on stage.

For example, when pressed on gun violence by Tapper, Youngkin chose to brag about the “strict gun laws” in his state while praising the existence of red flag provisions. In another instance, Tapper challenged the governor with an explanation of supposed systemic racism pulled straight from The 1619 Project. Youngkin responded by saying it should be taught in schools.

CNN’s Jake Tapper is now arguing with Glenn Youngkin over how to teach American history in schools. pic.twitter.com/0hoeYhJA3v

— Kevin Tober (@KevinTober94) March 10, 2023

Now, my assumption is that he was simply fumbling over his answer and didn’t realize what he said, but that’s kind of the point. Youngkin wasn’t ready for this, and the easiest way he could have rectified that is to not hand his enemies undeserved propaganda in the first place. This shouldn’t have to be continually said, but CNN is not your friend. They are not going to operate in good faith, and you are helping them mislead people by playing their game.

If Republicans take anything from Ron DeSantis, it should be that icing out a hostile press is the only way. There is nothing to be gained by taking a beat from Jake Tapper on a low-rated town hall only being broadcast to liberal households and airports. If Youngkin has any further ambitions outside of Virginia (where the moderate schtick he displayed is actually of political value), he’d better learn that lesson. Because right now, he’s showing himself to not be ready for primetime.

Ratings Blowout: Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 6 Coverage Brought Six Times as Many Viewers as CNN

March 9, 2023 by Bob Hoge Leave a Comment

The opinions expressed by contributors are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of RedState.com.

While rival network anchors whine and Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Senator Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) squirm over Tucker Carlson’s airing of unedited footage from January 6, the viewing public has definitely picked a winner—and it’s Fox News.

A whopping 4.1 million viewers tuned in to “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday, while only 1.4 million found the time to watch Chris Hayes on MSNBC. Anderson Cooper over at CNN, meanwhile, was only able to pull in a very sad 577,000.

Cable News Ratings Overload Tue Mar 7

Fox News had more total and 25 to 54 year old demo viewers than MSNBC, CNN, Newsmax & NewsNation combined.

Primetime Average Demo | Total Viewers
1⃣@FoxNews 404,000 | 3,057,000
2⃣@MSNBC 163,667 | 1,494,333
3⃣@CNN 94,333 |… https://t.co/z5GhW3ko6o pic.twitter.com/26EcR9ATen

— RoadMN 📈 (@RoadMN) March 8, 2023

According to Mediaite, the overall average for Fox prime time doubled MSNBC’s average of 1.49 million total viewers—and brought in more than six times the viewers of CNN. In fact, if you look closely at the entire day’s ratings, Fox’s shows beat their competitors every single hour from 6 am to 11 pm, often doubling or tripling the numbers put up by the likes of CNN and MSNBC.

More importantly to advertisers, Fox also easily outperformed the others in the key demographic of 25-to-54-year-olds, with Tucker garnering 556,000 sets of those eyeballs while the other two sad sacks couldn’t even get close to 200,000.

You almost (almost) start to feel sorry for the beleaguered CNN when you see that a Monday primetime special on the First Lady called “Jill Biden Abroad” cratered in the ratings. As RedState‘s Brandon Morse put it, “CNN Adds Another Major Failure to the Books as Jill Biden’s Primetime Special Bombs Spectacularly.” Bombs spectacularly is the perfect way to put it, because the puff piece on Mrs. Biden lost 43 percent of the already low viewership they usually get at the hour.

How’s CNN anchor Anderson Cooper taking the ratings beatdown? Not well. Here he is reduced to making childish playground insults:

Anderson Cooper: “The idea of Tucker Carlson being in that mob that day and not wetting his pants is hard to imagine.”

If news anchors have to spew first-grade insults to prove a point, the facts are not on the anchor’s side.
pic.twitter.com/ed9KdRQTSj

— Charles R Downs (@TheCharlesDowns) March 8, 2023

Clearly, the poorly rated Cooper failed to take Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s recent rant about toxic masculinity seriously.

But why is Fox (especially Tucker Carlson) earning such massive viewership, while their competitors continue to flounder? The answer is that more and more people no longer trust CNN and MSNBC because for years they fed us a false Russia collusion narrative. They then pivoted and turned into full-blown Fauci acolytes and continually aired COVID information that later turned out to be wrong.

Meanwhile, the “select committee” hearings on January 6 were a joke from the start, with then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refusing to let Republicans Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana participate on the panel. The orchestrated hearings seemed more like a bad stage play than an actual quest for the truth.

The rest of the media are freaking out because Tucker is merely showing the actual unedited videos—not the scripted narrative the J6 insurrection cheerleaders tried to force on us.

The videos destroy much of the story we’ve been told—for instance, the footage of Capitol Police officers escorting the Q-Anon Shaman through the building shows a peaceful if troubled man ambling about, not a crazed ultra-MAGA nutcase hellbent on destroying everything.

The reason so many people tune to Fox is they feel they’re being misled—or often outright lied to—by the mainstream media, and they’re hungry for enough information to allow them to determine the truth.

CNN Adds Another Major Failure to the Books as Jill Biden’s Primetime Special Bombs Spectacularly

March 8, 2023 by Brandon Morse Leave a Comment

CNN just can’t seem to get a win, even when they’re baiting the most ardent leftists with an extravagant puff piece on Joe Biden’s handler.

The plan was simple. Get the CNN primetime spot some watch time by giving an interview with the woman America can’t seem to get away from, First Lady Jill Biden. Only there’s one flaw in the plan. Despite the fact that she’s been shoved into everything from sports to Grammy presentations, Jill just isn’t carrying water.

According to Fox News, the ratings for Biden’s primetime appearance were more than abysmal:

The “CNN Primetime” special, branded “Jill Biden Abroad,” featured an interview CNN White House correspondent Arlette Saenz that shed a staggering 43% of viewers of CNN’s average 2023 9 p.m. ET viewership.

“Jill Biden Abroad” averaged a dismal 368,000 total viewers compared to 2.7 million for Fox News’ “Hannity” and 2.3 million for MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” which both aired in the same time slot. It was CNN’s worst weekday performance at 9 p.m. since June 17, 2022, with the exception of Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

So not only did Biden not attract viewers to the CNN primetime slot, she chased a good deal of them away. In fact, as Fox News added, Biden’s appearance on CNN was outwatched by reruns of shows like “Friends” on TBS and “Gunsmoke” on TV Land Classics.

It gets even worse when you dig a bit deeper and find that when it came to the target demographic (adults aged 25-54) only 84,000 viewers tuned in. This is after CNN put in a February of record lows that saw the channel dip to numbers that hadn’t been seen in a decade.

(READ: CNN Hits Record Lows in Viewership During a Very Sad February for the Channel)

While this isn’t good for CNN, this is even worse for the Biden Administration. With her husband Joe embarrassing everyone every time he gets in front of a camera, Jill was supposed to be the relatable and admirable face of the Biden administration. The fact that few are tuning in to see what she has to say about the administration shows that people aren’t interested, and in politics, that’s incredibly worrying.

Being hated can still generate conversation and possibly start up debates that will strengthen your side. Infamy can be just as useful, if not more useful than fame. To not be thought of, or rather for people to think you’re too unimportant to give attention to, is far worse.
